We were purchasing a house through them, and when the original chain broke down, they were calm, reassuring, and incredibly helpful while everything was being sorted. Their support made a huge difference and we eventually got our dream house.<br><br>A special mention to Mollie and Julie, who were both absolutely fantastic from start to finish. They were always responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about helping us achieve the best outcome.<br><br>We would highly recommend J Lord to anyone buying or selling a property. We’ll definitely use them again if we ever decide to move again.

6th Feb 2026 (6 weeks ago)As many companies transition to automated and AI driven customer service models it is wonderful to find a business that still operates through direct personal contact, understanding its customer's needs and going above and beyond to meet these. From initial consultation, through to celebratory completion phone calls Camilla Smith managed my sale in exemplary fashion. Despite many difficult issues arising in the inevitable chain of sales downstream Camilla was able to offer pragmatic solutions, broker agreements and actions, and most importantly take the lead in chasing and following up both solicitors and agents down the line. Without this level of engagement I am certain the deal would have collapsed. Outstanding in every way, I cannot recommend Peter Clarke and especially Camilla enough.

I originally chose Nick Griffith to sell my father's house simply because they had sold a house opposite to my father's. I am, however, very glad that I did. I live about 100 miles away and I felt that everything was in safe hands although I was so far away. They dealt with any queries/problems with the utmost professionalism and I am pleased to say the house sold at the asking price
11th Mar 2026 (8 days ago)Always a fabulous selection on offer. Really well laid out and options to bid online if you cant make it on the day. Only point last visit was lack of customer service basics when paying. No please thank you or even acknowledgement. Every other staff member was lovely though and this doesnt normally happen so still 5 stars. The lad helping load our van had so much energy and was lovely. Looking forward to attending next month

We were kept regularly informed and received calls as promised. As a potential buyer this reflected well on the property being sold and it gave us confidence that communication would continue in such a positive way throughout any purchase.

15th Mar 2026 (4 days ago)I recently saw a property they were renting out to a family, I'll try to get some photographs to add here but to summarise, it was damp, musty, plaster falling off the walls and had thick visible mould.... I asked the tenant why they didn't say anything and they replied "I have many times, they've even seen it firsthand but they don't care". I saw the evidence with my own eyes and will never use Doolittle & Dalley!!

They’ve worked actively to answer questions, chase other parties when necessary and make sure everyone in the chain is supported and happy. I can’t thank them enough - my house was sold in two days and two viewings. Moving day is this week…!

27th Feb 2026 (20 days ago)Hi, Davidson Estates have rented out my properties well over 10 years. I have dealt with a number of staff over this period and always found them to be very professional. Over the years, I have mainly dealt with Mel who is a very down to earth person, easy to talk to, has a full understanding of the rental and sales market. I am more than happy to follow the advise from Mel regarding suitability of tenants and a suitable rental figure. On occasionals when I have contacted Mel at the office she has always been able to forward me to the correct person within the department, if my enquiry cannot be dealt directly with her. A very capable person which any company would be delighted to have in their team.

His knowledge of the local area was brilliant and he knew perfectly which properties to place us with and made the whole experience easy and straightforward. Whenever we have an issue, the maintenance team are quick to sort it, usually within 24 hours. We had a problem with our power this morning and they had an electrician around in just a few hours from when I reported the issue. This team is efficient and kind! Highly recommend

10th Feb 2026 (5 weeks ago)I had a property viewing booked today confirmed by phone and email. I arrive and find out it’s been cancelled. They sent a text message but only twenty minutes before. This was a one hour round trip - very frustrating.
