So far absolutely awful service. If someone cancels the day before the viewing, don’t you think it’s good to contact the home owner and let them know? What’s the point in taking time off work or cleaning or anything if you already know they aren’t coming. Absolutely awful communication.

Amber couldn’t do enough to help us especially in getting a second viewing the day after our first with little notice. I recently sold a property through the Witney branch of Andrews and it was generally a good experience. Rebecca Copelin was the agent who dealt with the valuation and sale and she was excellent. There were a few issues surrounding one of the viewings which wasn't the greatest, but Andrews were very good in how they responded to this. I would say that as the sellers (the fee paying immediate customer of Andrews) we did feel at moments like we were the B side of the equation in comparison to the buyers. But on reflection Andrews did help us sell the house very quickly and for a good price so the objective was achieved with their help and expertise.

Shortly after losing my father, my mother moved into a care home and I had the task of clearing and selling their house. Several estate agents were asked to value the property, and discuss how they would market it. Mum and I were both very impressed by Matt from Andrews, who was kind and sympathetic at what was a very difficult time for us, but also professional, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the property business. From the moment I instructed them to sell the property, to the day the transaction completed and I took the keys in to their office, Matt, Charlie and Becca were consistently friendly, helpful and approachable, quick to respond to messages and provide feedback from viewings. It was usually Charlie who I spoke to on the phone and he was always able to provide a full update on progress, and to discuss my options. In the end, there were competing offers for the house and the team at Andrews negotiated a very satisfactory outcome for us. Overall, they made a stressful time a little easier for me, and I would not hesitate to use the firm again in the future.

We have recently sold two houses and purchased one all through Andrews. Both houses quickly went on the market and within a few days had sold. Matt Wood took over our sales and purchase and has been incredible. He has gone above and beyond to complete as quickly as possible for us. Absolute disgrace… Renting for 4 years - 4 years of them not dealing with any issues reported. Waiting for the boiler to be fixed in the coldest time of the year for 4 working days before they called plumbers - only because the rebate was mentioned… no inspections whatsoever for 4 years then the whole deposit is being held and released back to the agency to cover “the damage” - even though the property has been damaged and afterwards repainted by the plumbers - £400 to cover just painting the walls. What a hellish experience!

Things got off to a promising start with Andrews, and initially communication was good for the first few weeks. However, interest in my flat did drop off quite quickly (with no viewings arranged for more than two months after the first couple of weeks on the market). With this, I noticed that Andrews were no longer communicating with me as much as I would have expected. It was often I that had to initiate all communication and make calls to the office to find out how things were progressing. On many occasions I couldn’t get through to the relevant sales team staff, so I had to resort to leaving messages with colleagues or sending emails. These were often not responded to.
In the end I switched to a different estate agent as I started to get fed up by the poor communication and the lack of viewings.

Having viewed a property and then placed an offer, we were informed that the seller (property company) had neither rejected ot accepted the offer. Although the agent couldn't provide any further details, they did say it was likely due to our house not currently being sold, which is fair enough. However, 2 weeks later my partner looks on RightMove to find that the house has been sold! At no point did Andrews get back to us about another offer, even though this had been discussed in detail at the time ours was made. I called to ask about the property and as apologetic as they might have been, this agent sadly lacks any customer focus of service. House purchase is a major undertaking and therefore this lack of communication demonstrates nothing but poor service. Thankfully the market is awash with plenty of good agents and I would certainly never use them to sell a property and would use extreme caution for any purchase that they were the agents for.

Such a massive lack of communication and organisation within the company at Witney moving into a rented property everything was left to the last second despite us having to chase them multiple times and eventually the final thing was sorted on the day we were supposed to be moving in. Fast forward to moving out and so far it's been 3 weeks and we still haven't had our deposit back despite multiple calls back and forth being told we need to get confirmation to release the deposit from the landlord even though that was done almost immediately. Never have I ever had the misfortune of dealing with a company that is so disorganised and has such a lack of communication. I can safely say we will never be dealing with them again

Extremely poor agents with a voracious and insatiable appetite for extracting every possible penny from their unfortunate tenants.<br><br>Their website, comically, makes boasts about their ethical credentials, but the reality is very different. Repeated requests for the return of the part of our deposit held in excess of the new government maximum were roundly ignored, until eventually after much persistence a brief and high-handed note was received stating they were not legally obliged to do so. Not legally obliged no, but morally and honourably obliged surely.<br><br>They've had more than 10 years of unearned interest from our deposit and you'd think that'd be sufficient for them. But instead they rely on the absolute letter of the law to squeeze their poor tenants as hard as they possibly can.<br><br>A shameful and immoral company. Avoid if you possibly can.

As a family who have been renting homes for many years, these are by far the WORST letting agent we've dealt with, and they didn't even manage the property we rented! Our private landlords purely used them for contracts and signing which at first was fine. We then lived in the property for ~5yrs happily. Every single communication with Andrews was made difficult. Their fees are ridiculous (£120 to reprint the same contract and sign it....seriously?) and the staff unfriendly and unhelpful. We have NEVER had issues with deposits, and tbh we didn't this time either, but it took Andrews nearly 15 business days to get the deposit back to us and getting a response from them was like getting blood out of a stone. We would contact the landlord to check he was happy, which he was. Then contact Andrews to confirm to which they would blame someone else for not telling them something and promising they would get back to us. Low and behold, 3 days pass and nothing. Eventually they confirmed all was signed off and it still took them nearly five days for the money to be returned to us. Utterly ridiculous. I would recommend avoiding this agent if at all possible.

I appreciate estate agents don't do much. Especially in the rental market. Sometimes I just wish they could pretend they know what they are talking about. I don't know about you but I prefer being wined and dined before I have my trousers pulled down, unfortunately Andrews haven't heard of foreplay. We were shown around a house this weekend and the agent didn't know if we had a parking space, didn't know what council tax band the house was and couldn't even let us into the back garden but still thought it was appropriate to get us to sign a form to hold the property. Don't get me wrong your all pretty useless, I was lucky enough to be shown around about 8 different properties at the weekend by 4 different estate agents and none of you seemed to know the difference between a window and a door, but Andrew's was by far the worse.
