Been meaning to share a review for a while. We moved Nov 25. For such a long time I believed Ben Rose were the estate agent to use due to quality of photos and because of the number of boards you see everywhere. How wrong was I?! Photographer I still believe is excellent. But basically your photos are what sell your house. The staff arent salespeople they are just admin staff with too much on their plate. Service improved after we sold when it became an admin task but selling was not a pleasant experience unfortunately. Every phonecall felt like an inconvenience. They've no spare staff to present your property for you most of the time. Unfortunately I feel like we'd have been better off with purple bricks or an independent estate agent. Won't be moving again hopefully but this is just my honest opinion and experience. Might help others choose estate agents more wisely. Cant speak for the other branches of course, staff from Leyland seemed lovely but we were in the wrong postcode sadly

I recently purchased a property through Ben Rose, and I have to say that Jess has been absolutely exceptional throughout the entire process. From the very beginning, she went above and beyond in every possible way. Her professionalism, patience, and constant support made a huge difference, especially during the more stressful parts of the journey.
Jess was always proactive, always responsive, and always willing to chase things up — even when the delays were coming from other parties. She kept me updated at every stage and genuinely took the time to make sure things kept moving. It’s very rare to come across someone in this industry who cares as much as she does, and I truly don’t think the purchase would have come together without her dedication.

I have been buying and selling property in the UK and Europe since my teens and have to say this is the worse estate agent I have dealt with.
What started well changed once I began liaising with Bamber bridge office staff causing my sale to become a nightmare. Staff were only concerned with if I could move out my home a.s.a.p. prior to the chain completing. I was advised I would lose the sale as the buyer would not wait! I spoke with office manger re the tone of calls I was receiving, requesting she listens to the recordings of the calls. I had to hand all correspondence to my solicitor who agreed, advising these are empty threats from your estate agent not verified by the buyers solicitor who he was in contact with.
Confirming the the level of bad service received, when asking Ben Rose Bamber Bridge if they could ask the buyer if I accidentally left some cables in property. I was advised they would speak to the buyer and get strait back to me, I have received no response for over a week!
Easily my worst property selling experience in over 30+ years

We didn't end up purchasing with them as we realised the house wasn't for us in the end & they seemed to have a few issues with the owner which tainted it a bit. The staff are very friendly however & responsive to emails etc

From our first enquiry via RightMove to the final completion, the team was consistently professional, responsive, and helpful. They kept communication flowing, passed on our questions to the vendors promptly, and did everything they could to keep the process moving smoothly.

Sale on my dad's property after a bereavement was extremely difficult emotionally. Ben Rose were amazing valueing property and viewings but once it sold I had to keep chasing for updates. Calls were very rarely returned with updates I had to continually chase. Over 16 weeks took to complete extremely stressful.

Ben Rose Estate Agents (Bamber Bridge) can undoubtedly be very proud of the level of care, attention and service provided regards the sale of our property that had been in the family for the last 48 years.
Valued on Monday, went to Market on the Thursday, viewings on Friday and Saturday and the Sold sign went up on the following Monday.
We were very lucky that there was substantial interest in our property and Ben Rose managed to negotiate an above market rate via pro-active discussions between ourselves and the purchasers and we were delighted to choose a young first time buying couple.
Regular updates from Ben Rose to our Conveyors and ourselves made it a totally smooth pain free transaction thanks to Chris and his team at Bamber Bridge.

I was quite keen to view the property as I really liked it and at no point did they make me feel a nuisance! All my questions have been answered promptly, professionally and friendly. I've previously (around a year ago) been let down by another nearby branch of Ben Rose Estate Agents not replying to online requests to provide details about properties for sale at all but thought I'd give their Bamber Bridge branch a chance.
On Sunday 28th August I submitted an online house valuation request to book an appointment for the following Wednesday and promptly received a text message from a member of staff asking if I was ready to put my house on the market or simply wanted a valuation carried out before deciding what to do- I replied the latter of the two then didn't here anything at all. Needless to say that the intended valuation on the Wednesday never occurred. Then randomly out of the blue I received another message around a week later in the form of an advert from the same member of staff- offering hints and tips on how to maximise the potential selling ability of your house. Seeing they can't even organise simple valuation appointments, I wouldn't recommend Ben Rose Estate Agents.
