Arrogant call when trying to arrange a viewing. I think i was speaking with the branch manager and he spoke to me like I was poo on his shoe. In my many years dealing with estate agents, Fidelis was by far the worst. I have contacted Fidelis multiple times (happy to provide proof) in regards to a property that has been on the market for three weeks now, and was prohibited from viewing by artificially limiting the viewings of the property based purely on their first come first serve policy instead of proper qualifications of buyers. The impact this must have on the final price achieved by the clients as well as the buyers experience is significant. Luckily they are not the only estate agent in bath, and I can only advise anyone, if you want to sell your house, choose literally anyone else, unless you are fine settling for bad service and a low sales price.... Impressive customer service. After a booking error on my initial viewing I have been immensely impressed by the customer service offered by Fidelis. I received two calls from them in the following days (including one from the company owner Patrick who had made a donation to charity as an acknowledgement of the error and outlined how it had occurred) and set up another viewing for the following week. The agent we met for the viewing (Mark) was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable; sharing his experiences and providing insights on repairs the property would need and the quotes they had received for work of that type In summary, I am hard-pressed to recall a better customer service experience than the one I have had from Fidelis. Very friendly and professional from start to finish. One of the reasons we chose this firm is because they were the only one to talk honestly and not belittle or talk down their competitors in order to gain customers (unlike two other firms in the city), Mark was our first contact with the firm and remained courteous and informative from the outset to completion. The viewings team were excellent, respecting our property at all times and giving feedback. Annalise in particular is very personable. A most professional and affable company that offered a service well beyond what might have been expected. Couldn't have asked for more. Patrick, the director, went out of his way to accommodate our house sale. To offer an example, we went abroad the morning after the property was listed, leaving by mistake a faulty copy of keys with the agency. We weren't able to arrange for a good copy to be with the agency until early evening. Patrick re-arranged a viewing for 19.00 that same night with a potential buyer who wouldn't otherwise have been in a position to view (and who ended up being our actual buyer). Fidelis arranged for 15 viewings in the 5 days following our listing. We received multiple offers and were able to agree to a raised offer within a week, with exchange occurring just two months after listing. The marketing material Fidelis produced was of very high quality. Professional photos, EPC, floor plans etc were all included within the very competitive fee. Patrick, Mark and all the back office staff were fantastically supportive throughout. I honestly never heard a sentence starting 'We can't…' or 'We won't be able to…'. No call went unanswered and all emails were responded to without delay. When approaching exchange our buyers threatened to throw a couple of spanners in the works. Mark's experience ensured that the issues were quickly and amicably resolved to the satisfaction of both parties, allowing the transaction to proceed with no more than a minor delay to the original schedule. If all companies were as experienced, amiable and co-operative as Fidelis, business would be a considerably more pleasant affair. I would not hesitate to use again. Highly recommended.... Read more

We instructed Fidelis to market and sell our 3 bedroom property. From the outset, we were impressed with Patrick's approach which was credible, professional and felt very personal. Patrick gave us advice prior to marketing the property on some small, simple changes we could make that would increase both the 'saleability' and price we could achieve. Patrick produced a brochure to market our property which featured a detailed write-up and professional photography. His attention to detail and demand for high standards resulted in the brochure being very high quality indeed. Patrick's approach to the marketing resulted in a huge amount of interest in our property which he duly converted to several viewings of vetted potential buyers. Patrick was diligent in providing feedback from potential buyers in a timely fashion. I think what impressed us most about Fidelis and Patrick in particular was his ability to 'match' our property to the eventual buyers; it really was the perfect house for them which made the sale very solid indeed. When there was small hiccup further down the chain, Patrick worked tirelessly to manage all the parties, including solicitors and other estate agents, to ensure the exchange and completion went ahead. My only regret is Patrick hasn't opened a branch of Fidelis in Hertfordshire where we are currently trying to buy. The high street agents are hopeless in comparison and make me realise just how lucky we were to have instructed him. If you want an agent that will work with you, advise you, market your house professionally and treat you as though your house is the only one he's selling, instruct Fidelis.
