What an unpleasant experience dealing with these people. Started well enough but rapidly fell apart when they exceeded their authority.
Utterly ridged in their administration & understanding despite agreeing beforehand & a bespoke brief.
If they don't stop their appalling & unnecessary intimidation immediately, they will be facing a court order preventing all further contact.

Well what can I say had all the BS when took on selling our house, up for over 3 months, was in a 3 month contract via Bewley Homes 2/3 viewings in the 3 months, I emailed them at end of contract to take it off the market…no reply back, then another 3 weeks on I get a call about a viewing told them straight away I had emailed them re taking house off the market, but said yes ok for a viewing….then I get a call on the day viewing cancelled. They have since took it off the market. But overall 3/4 viewings in total, not very good

The worst real estate agent I ever met. After rent ends, they had a list of the different reasons for us to pay and after eight months and several time of reminders, we still didn’t receive the rest of the deposit. In a word, if you choose them, prepare to give away all your deposit.

I have been doing business with Connells since 2016 and I would like to consider myself a loyal client. However, there was a misunderstanding in their account system which caused me and Connells both a lot of headache. I was almost certain not to carry on with them in future. However, I found Fabiha Hoque, which was the most helpful and tried her best to sort out the issue. I am very pleased with the outcome and believe will carry on with Connells in future as far as I can find people like Fabiha who understand the value of loyalty and customer service.

We used their "fully managed" services to let our flat in the area.
They were very good at collecting the fees and reminding us of legal stuff like boiler inspection (even when there were only two days remaining in the tenancy) but apart of that didn't do much, and were very slow at responding. Basically acting as proxies between you and tenants/contractors, but you still somehow have to manage it all.
The inventory checks were poorly made; they didn't even bother to open/close the curtains or take a water meter reading, and they didn't check the garage. The thermostat was left at 21C for five weeks while the flat was empty; we were later told by Connells that their staff is not trained to use thermostats. They are not responsive; your contact point changes, sometimes without notice, and the new one is not updated on your case.

I bought my house from them a couple of years ago with which I am highly satisfied and now Connells has swiftly (in a matter of just weeks) been able to find excellent tenants at a better-than-expected price. All throughout Steven Sarbatta has been professional and diligent. The quality of service I have received from Connells through him is exemplary and is worthy of mention. He is ably assisted by Sher Azad who is also an able property manager. SLUGS, mould, no deep cleaning. That's what we complained about at our arrival on the property.
It is disgusting, it's unhealthy, this is not what we are paying for.
This is supposed to be a house for a family with SMALL CHILDREN. It's been A MONTH we started reporting these issues! No action has been taken, despite us complying with every request for proof, visits, emails, reporting.
The lack of professionalism, simple human decency and bare management is more than appalling, it's criminal. Connells has been made aware of the situation, the house is uninhabitable and our health is affected by it and yet nothing has happened. This company is a disaster.

As a renter, you may not have a present experience. They seem to be only interested in making the money from you signing contracts. After that, they were super slow at any enquiry, zero response from emails. I always had to call many times and rarely got any response. Save yourself time and trouble and use another agency.

Very poor service! I was with connells for over 6 months with very limited viewings and no serious offers, since going with a different estate agents I have had more viewings in 3 weeks than I had in 6 months with connells. I often couldn’t get through on the phone and would leave a message for them to call me back, which they would very rarely return. They didn’t give me any feedback on viewings until I insisted that they should. No proper advice on pricing etc. I have wasted so much time and money waiting for connells. AVOID!!!!

Firstly, there should be the option to give more stars than 5, because Faz at Connells lettings deserves at least double that!
Faz offers competitive rates that are outstanding value for money considering the standard of work he delivers. Do not think twice about choosing him as your letting agent, he is simply excellent and delivers everything he promises. His honest and friendly approach with clear and consise instruction is highly commendable. He hardly says NO and went above and beyond his role as a Mortgage Consultant.
