Me and my partner have received great advice and customer service from Alex Swingewood from the moment we started applying for a mortgage and getting it accepted Alex has been friendly and pro active on phone calls and emails to us dealing with our issues promptly and efficiently. Nothing was ever an issue and was a calming influence for my partner to ! As she knew when he was tasked with something she trusted him totally as did i so thanks Alex :) . would recommend Alex and connells for anyone looking into who to go with i couldnt recommend them enough :)

Very happy to be all helpful and full of promises when they have a chance of a sale and getting paid. We were assured that we would be contacted if a higher offer to ours was put on a house until we found out from an online search that said house sold without us even being aware and not one person that worked there even cared to drop us a simple email. Funny now that we don't have an offer on a house they're not interested in helping us sort a mortgage anymore.
Also, love the 'house' suggestions that they send, why even bother asking what you require in a house if you're going to send options that are nothing like what you asked for?

I paid for my let through Connells, so I go to pick up the keys and it’s not there, apparently they’re doing inventory-without me even being there. So they say they’ll have the keys for me very soon and they’ll call me. 2 hours later, no call and their office is closed and I have to get a hotel for the weekend instead of staying in the house I just rented. When your entire business is to let properties, how do you not even care that the tenant doesn’t get the keys??

Was fortunate enough to have Rosie handling my remortgage, and I couldn't have been happier. Rosie consistently went above and beyond to make sure I was definitely getting the best deal possible. I can't get a viewing for the property I want to see. It took five days for Connells to confirm a viewing for me, then on the morning of the day, they "accidentally" cancelled my viewing, so we went about our day. Later on, I was informed that a member of staff had cancelled the wrong appointment.
Since then, it's taken another week for Connells to try and arrange a new appointment, but with a complete lack of resource and flexibility. I am left thoroughly dissatisfied as a would-be customer trying to view what could be their dream home.

If I had the option of selecting -1 stars, I would definitely have chosen that. Unfortunately, my experience with Connels is not a happy one. After a lot of phone discussions about a property I was interested in, I did not get any outcome. I am still waiting (and it has been more than a month) for an answer from Luke regarding that property. So, basically, they are not interested in helping people find their ideal home, which is the purpose of a real estate agency. I think that you, guys, have to remember yourselves why you are working in a real estate agency! I am very, but very disappointed! I will never try to work with Connels again! It’s pointless! Thanks once again for the negative impact!

I would highly recommend Connells Estate Agents Halesowen, from searching for a house to getting the keys. Initially when searching for a property Sam from sales was always ready to fit me in for viewings whenever suited me and answer all questions I had. I decided to stick with Connells for my mortgage process, and I cannot fault them at all. Rosie Grainger my mortgage adviser made the whole process run smoothly and kept us updated regularly. She was very responsive to emails, and I was never left unsure. She helped create an effortless experience. Unfortunately due to covid there was not any face to face contact, but her polite, welcoming persona leaked through the phone and I knew she was someone I could trust from the start. When making such a big commitment, a Rosie is what everyone needs! Great service from start to finish ???? ????

Very good Job! Jo and her team (Sam was assigned to the sale of my partner's house) were ever so helpful and always cheery. A pleasure to work with and things went well. The house sold in a couple of weeks and despite the covid 19 situation, and with a lot of communication between ourselves, the buyers, solicitors and Connells staff (even when Jo was furloughed) the property completed in 11 weeks. We waited for 20 minutes for the agent to arrive with a broken key. Then he asked us to wait another 20 min for him to go after another key. If you're an estate agent you have to be punctual. Period. If you know it's traffic than just make sure you're taking enough time to arrive in time. And we drove from London just to see the apartment. Nicely done.

I would highly recommend Connells in Halesowen. Jo and her team were professional from start to finish. Impartiality Bradley who we dealt with was brilliant. He showed maturity beyond his years and was fantastic at communication and keeping in touch. There were times when we thought we would loose our sale but Bradley negotiated on our behalf and managed to keep everything on track. We used Connells mortgage advisor and a solicitor, both were amazing!
Carol the mortgage advisor was so helpful and couldn't do enough for us. So supportive when a property fell through and always there to answer any questions about a potential property and questions about well literally anything we had. She was very honest about whether a property was mortgageable or not and whether deals with insurances were better through herself or other companies. We spoke to many different mortgage advisors before choosing Carol and we definitely made the right decision, she is very knowledgeable and actually along for the journey willing you on to fine the perfect property(for us this took a year) but she helped us all the way.

Don't go near this place! I've been waiting 2 months for my deposit back. I've made complaints to their Head Office who never respond. I've raised a dispute through the Deposit company who were told this had been resolved. Their Accounts Department (Connells) say the money is being transferred into my account, so far its taken 2 weeks!! Who knew transferring money took so long!! They all lie and cover each other but don't actually get anything done. I've exhausted every option and now I'm taking legal action against them. Be aware if this happens to you its really hard to get any money back as no one is properly regulated!
Oh and on a side note Data Protection means nothing as they gave the new tenant my contact details!

Terrible estate agent, 100% the worst one I've ever had to deal with. Took numerous emails from ourselves and our house owners to retireve our deposit back and had to go through 100 different phone numbers and companies to get to the person responsible for sending it back. Will never use again.

Very efficient, sold our house in 4 days. If you want a quick sale would definitely recommend them.
They are a bit more expensive than the other estate agents so would be great if they could be a bit more competitively priced, but overall a great estate agent to deal with.

Excellent service throughout from the whole team, I dealt with the whole lettings team and no matter who I spoke too, they managed to deal with any questions or queries straight away. I would not let my property through anyone else. They may be more expensive than other agents but paying a little more really does make that difference. Thank yoi team - you are all stars!!!

I made an offer on a property. A very serious offer, muchly considered. I went into the branch, they scanned my proof of funds, copy of my ID etc, I thought 'okay, they are taking me seriously too'.
Nearly 4 weeks have passed and I haven't received a call or email. Should I have to chase? What's going on? When someone makes an offer on a place, the courteous thing for an estate agent to do is call and say 'yes' or 'no'.
The property in question is now off the market, so I guess it was a no.
Use Connells Halesowen if you want to waste your time. The staff are clearly so besotted with doing absolutely nothing.

Hopeless, rubbish, nonsensical estate agents. I called to arrange a viewing and got my ears chewed off by the mortgage advisor (why is she answering the phones??) trying to sell me some product where they leaflet drop to houses asking for people to sell their properties!! WTF! Completely unrelated to my query! I wanted to arrange a viewing! That is all!
