Extremely pleased with the service I received. Switched to Connells as they are rated one of the best locally in terms of sales when another local estate agents didn't contact me for an age and viewings had dried up. It was time to switch and I made the right decision moving to Connells. This was November 2024 and straight away they changed things (photos etc..) to get me more interest. A steady flow of viewings came flowing in and in March 2025 I had an offer which I quickly accepted. It was slow then but through no fault of Connells. I had to change conveyancing solicitors and my joint owner ex wife held things up several times but eventually the house sold in August. My ex often burst into the office causing problems and even being rude but Connells dealt with these difficulties in a professional manner. Mark was great and his replacement Libby is too. The young staff are wonderful too. Very happy and grateful to Connells in Hereford for all they have done for me. Communication is good and they really do get the job done. I can't thank them enough and highly recommend them.

Really saddened by the lack of communication for a rental property. All started really well, got a lovely phone call and had my details taken for a property my partner and I were very much interested in. I then received a call the following week, in which I unfortunately missed! I called back straight away and asked to be contacted again the same day. I was told I would receive a call back, in which I never did. Didn’t hear anything for a while. Submitted multiple requests and still nothing. After many attempts to get back to the letting agency, the property we were interested in has had the let agreed. Better communication needs to be had, we were ready to commit and it’s a shame that we weren’t spoken to as promised.

Connells have proven to be a quick paced positive experience for anyone looking to rent property within the Herefordshire area. We have been shown around a couple of properties in good time, and once our application was in, communication about progress and and queries were relayed to us very quickly, meaning a smooth admin process for us (and hopefully for Jazmine and the team!)
We had dealings with Jazmine and Marley, both of whom are very polite, knowledgeable and professional in their dealings with clients. We appreciated the advice provided and the information about the processes Connells have in place for renting. Our application process was roughly two-three weeks (although aware this may be different depending on the customers personal circumstances).
Very happy to have moved over to Connells letting and would recommend them to anyone looking to rent in the local area. Thanks to Jazmine and the lettings team for ensuring out move was as stress-free as possible.

I decided to use the services offered by Connells in Hereford to find a new tenant for my vacant property. From start to finish my experience was flawless. An agent did a valuation of the property and within hours the house was on the rental market. Jazmine was my agent, and she was absolutely outstanding. She clearly and thoroughly explained the processes involved and kept me very well informed at all times by phone. I was present during the viewings with Jazmine and I found her to be extremely professional with clients. She made sure all the details she was relaying were correct and asked all the important questions to ensure we got the right tenant. She is a lovely, friendly, professional, highly motivated lady - an asset to Connells. I felt she genuinely wanted to find us the best tenant possible and nothing seemed too much trouble. I felt confident that referencing and checks were all being done to the highest standard. When the first batch of viewings didn't produce a match she arranged another day of viewings and reassured me that we would find someone suitable. We did! The tenant finding service saves the landlord so much time and hassle. The excellent reference checking weeds out anyone unsuitable and is worth every penny that you pay. The document signing is very user friendly and email communication is outstanding. Jazmine always phoned me if there was an issue to sort out and problems were tackled immediately. I think one of the most impressive attributes Connells has is the motivation to get things moving quickly, with no timewasting or unnecessary delays. The rental team is high energy and very helpful. This attribute is hard to find and often absent in so many companies. I would not hesitate to recommend Connells to anyone - 5 star service.

I'm not one for reviews however I'm just completing a long chain full of complications and hold ups which has proven really stressful and not the fault of Connells.
However, what was a dark and uncomfortable experience was made considerably less painful by the efforts, chasing and Good communication of Libby and Lavinia, with extra brownie stars for Libby who seemed to me to take how we felt and took it upon herself to deal personally with it.
I had concerns using a Hereford estate agent when the house being sold is 20 miles away but they certainly jumped to it and dealt with it brilliantly so five stars.

If you are expecting miracles in communication you are on the wrong site, like most estate agents in Hereford, unless you are buying a home, the peasants looking to rent are pushed to the back of the queue, and they contact you when they feel like it, apart from the odd one that does have a registration form actually online it is a long winded process to even get started on renting a property. Get with the 21st century and have a form online so people can fill in all the information, like employment, salary and all the do's and don't of meg's backside.

We used Connells letting service and I would definitely not recommend them. They didn’t inform us the tenants hadn’t passed the checks until just before the move in date. They didn’t update the tenancy agreement when some of the tenants left, despite numerous requests over a 18 month period. This invalidated our landlord insurance. The staff don’t take any responsibility and the area manager Chris Jones took over two months to respond to a complaint and the response didn’t address the main points. We gave notice and moved to a more professional agent and Connells haven’t updated their records so sent a rent arrears letter to the tenants. Very unprofessional and the staff really don’t care.

Definitely a 5 star experience. As landlords we have used Connells letting service in Hereford for a number of years. Their process of finding tenants is rigourous and also sensitive to peoples needs and situations. We have not used the full management service but have found them to be approachable and very helpful if we had a problem. While experiencing a couple of difficulties Jake has been particularly helpful and friendly while maintaining his professionalism.

I have just purchased and sold a property using Connells. Everything has been done with professionalism and politeness. Somewhat remarkably they were able to find me a suitable property to purchase as well as introduce the ideal purchaser all within a very narrow timescale. The quality of advice has been top rate and communications have been prompt and clear.

A very Positive experience. Jake and Katie at Connells were our main contacts and they were very professional, polite and efficient . having used Connells for the first time i was very impressed with Lavina. she was professional, so well mannered, bubbly and not pushy but sharp, she always got back to us promptly and made us feel like she had no other customers, when, i know she must have been buried ! 10 out of 10 to her for service personality and professionalism !!!!. Marc is also a well mannered manager who clearly has a good team supporting him, and from what i saw they all get along well and create a lovely warm feeling when entering their branch

Lavina was our contact and i would recommend and use her again without blinking an eye. She was fantastic. nothing was too much trouble. She always got back to us promptly, was extremely efficient, polite, friendly, warm and professional. Having been in sales all of my working life i was extremely taken with Lavina's charism, tenacity and no pressure approach. Moving house is always a daunting time, however ours was made all that worse by the sudden loss of our Dad. I hadn't had any previous experience of selling a house, let alone buying one, so it was quite scary. Thankfully for us we had a lovely lady, Lavina helping us out. She was kind and empathic, nothing was too much trouble (although our sale wasn't straight forward) and kept us up to date through the whole process. Communication was excellent, knowledge was great and general customer service was outstanding. After a change in my circumstances, I needed to find a property as quickly as possible. I telephoned Connells and spoke with Jake in the Lettings Department. Everything was done efficiently and professionally from the very first phone call. I received my keys in under a week from my viewing. I have since telephoned Jake with queries and he has been able to give me answers almost immediately. Following bad experiences with 2 estate agents since, I have to say that Connells (hereford) were absolutely fantastic throughout my tenancy. Everything was straightforward, the one repair we required was attended to quickly and conveniently. Inspections well organised, correct processes followed in all instances and best of all, no battle to get the deposit back upon moving out. Would use again!

Jake was an enthusiastic salesman, who went to great efforts to find us suitable tenants. Potential tenants were being shown round from the day we approached Connells to let the property, and the house was let within two weeks of it going on the market.
The paperwork was all dealt with very well, and did not get in the way of doing business. Jake was able to make decisions on behalf of Connells, and the resulting contracts were very reasonable.
There were some niggles with the Docusign system, but they did not prevent the tenancy being concluded satisfactorily.
The full management service enabled various tasks which needed to be done before the house could be let to be completed very quickly and for a good price.

The house completion takes place later today and I just wanted to say a huge thanks to you personally for all of your support from the very first day we met you to today, as we live over 200 miles away your support has meant that we haven’t had to spend every weekend in Hereford.
It’s the end of an era for my wife as her Aunt was her only relative on her side of the family left so a sad day for her. However we are really pleased that the house has sold to a young lady who I’m sure will make her own memories in 98 Stanberrow Road.

My husband and I are so thankful beyond words. Jake Ashford from Connells, Hereford has been an answer to prayers. We are a family relocating to Hereford and have had a stressful time to say the least. Whilst the Lettings team in branch are friendly and attentive their remit is very limited. The company is let down by outsourced operations and call centres and departments spread across various cities meaning that lots of important communications are lost. My experience of Connells warrants one star because they lost a key to my property, allowed a contractor to enter without my knowledge and personal items went missing.
