Arranged a viewing of a property for sale yesterday at 15:00 and I even had a text reminder the day before. I arrived at the property 5 minutes early, waited for 25 minutes and no estate agent turned up. I phoned the office after 20 minutes but no answer. Connells have not been in contact, Ive heard nothing. If you are selling your property through then I would consider if they have your best interests at heart.

You will be hounded - GDPR and "no" means nothing to these people!
Sarah-Jane came to do a valuation in August or September of 2023, we decided for numerous reasons to sell the house through another agent. We continued to receive calls from their office despite explaining we had no need for their services and after about 3 of these calls I asked that they remove our contact details from their database as the last one had disturbed my husband while he was asleep for night shifts.
A few weeks later I received another call, I explained that this was a GDPR violation, that I had specifically instructed them to remove my details from their system and not contact us again, this was unacceptable. They apologized and said they would remove them immediately to which I replied "you said that last time, and the time before". Today I have received an email from Sarah-Jane via Rightmove so I am reporting them to the ICO.

STAY AWAY!! Absolutely dreadful!
Sarah in the Longwell Green office is callous, pushy, rude, unhelpful! Fake apologies when concerns are expressed only to return to being rude within the next breath. Couldn’t ever get a call back. Never on the front foot to help us.
All about trying to grab money.

When I was on my way to view a property they rang to say there running 10 minutes behind, then when I was waiting at property they rang to say they had wrong keys and couldn't locate correct keys and they'd call me that was 4 days ago and still no call

We chose Connells Sarah and Charlie were so friendly and knowledgeable and totally onboard with our timescale due to personal reasons. I was introduced to Stacey who was so lovely and complimenting I had every trust in her showing potential buyers around my home she did a fab job for us. A week ago I picked up the keys to my home. I would like to thank Jacob first of all, since dealing with him he has gone above and beyond expectations to what was a very difficult situation he pulled out all the stops when my mortgage offer was due to end, without him it could have been a lot worse, Tia also played a part in this and i can’t thank them both enough for all the hard work they put in. If you’re going to deal with anyone at Connells then speak to Jacob he is an asset to that branch and business. I would highly recommend him to family and friends moving forward.

I recently sold my first home with Connells and they made the whole process so easy. They got me over the asking price and were really helpful when it came to pushing the sale through within a reasonable timescale. I didn't have to chase them or the solicitors once as they did it all for me! The mortgage consultant Alfie was really friendly and not salesy at all. Although I didn't buy my new house with Connells the girls in the branch were all really helpful and called me with anything new coming on the market. Will definitely come back to Connells when I need to sell a house!

The worst most incompetent estate agents I have ever had to deal with. They do not ring back as promised when you make an enquiry with them. Very un professional on the phone any member of staff we speak to does not seem to have a clue what's going on. They have never had the decency to apologise for their catalogue of errors they have made with us. They have never once attempted to go out of their way or even just do their job and help us with our house search once it is always us contacting them. Really have left a bad taste in our mouths for the Connells brand.

Popped into this office today as I am thinking of buying another property to rent out, and the staff were really helpful! The manager Aaron introduced himself and made me a cup of coffee. It was Elly-May that dealt with my enquiry, and introduced me to the lettings team. It's a stylish office and nothing seemed like it would be too much trouble for them. I left their office thinking what a fantastic experience that was. Good work.
