He has been very helpful, friendly and kept me up to date with everything going on during my rental process. They always managed to find time to show me round properties even when I don’t have the easiest schedule due to work and has been a very quick process with the property I have managed to rent. Everything was explained to me in detail and next steps were discussed, I was kept up to date through the process and always had a quick response whenever I did have any questions. Fantastic service from Vivien at Duncan Yesrdley. We were looking for either a 4 bed house or a 3 bed with extra room to accommodate 3 children, a dog and working from home. Initially we enquired about 2 properties that Vivien spoke to me at length about on the phone. Vivien was very understanding of our needs for our new home and helpful and realistic about the properties pros and cons. Neither property we first discussed quite fit our needs so Vivien showed me a 3rd property that we have now signed our tenancy agreement for. We have been speaking with Tom Major, who has been our main point of contact so far throughout the process. Tom has been both approachable, helpful, prompt and professional throughout so far, keeping us informed on any progress whilst respecting boundaries when we are unable to take calls due to work/life commitments. Tom has constantly kept us informed on movement, feedback and has always given us the time to make decisions. Tom is clearly a competent, enthusiastic and valued member of the Duncan Yeardley team, an asset to have!
Having said that, all team members that we have had interactions with have been patient, approachable, professional and informing. They all appear to work with the clients at the heart of their work, which is not the case for all estate agents. Certainly a pleasure to deal with.

As somebody who previously hasn't had a great experience of the lettings industry I would simply say the experience with Duncan Yeardley was 5 star.
Of particular note was Jan and Michelle in the property management department where during my tenancy they simply couldn't do enough to help, being friendly and professional where nothing was to much of a problem and they got things resolved and sorted quickly.
Refreshingly head and shoulders above previous dealings with competitors property management departments, where others could learn an awful lot from these ladies.

I went to seek a property with this estate agent that I came across from right move however, that property was sold upon calling. But usually I would keep on looking on right moves in search of finding something however, the agent I spoke with that day they were able to introduce me to another property that was up my alleyway that ticked most of boxes and was in an ideal location. So without hesitation they were available to help me view that property. My husband and I wasted no time to let the staff know we wanted. The staff was pretty helpful getting things done offering to the sellers our proposed price and said yes. The staffs were able to send over the paperwork so we could start the process. All in all I thought they were efficient especially when I was dealing with Judy most of the time and easy to reach when I needed to confirm information etc. most when I do speak with Judy she was always pleasant and happy to assist. We very recently instructed Duncan Yeardley in the sale of our house. Within 14 days (and within a week of the property "going live"), having had numerous viewings, we had received 4 genuine offers, one of which we are proceeding with. At the start, Tom Major appraised and valued our house, Josef came to photograph it and conduct the EPC and, finally Callum took time to guide us through our options in deciding which offer to accept as each had its own merits. The named gentlemen were the three members of staff with whom we had individual face-to-face dealings but all staff, including those with whom we only had telephone or email contact, were extremely polite and professional. At the end of the day, this is, in essence, all about a very large financial transaction but, at all stages of the process, we have felt that our interests have being properly and well looked after.

I did quite a bit of research before putting our beautiful flat in their hands for letting, and can assure you that there is nobody in the Bracknell area that will offer you a better service. We have been dealing with Jan Stamp and her team for 2 years now. In that time, there have been one or two issues that needed to be dealt with as regards both our flat and our tenants. Jan and her team are very quick to respond to any issues, whatever they may be, and keep us updated at every step of the way. As we now live outside of the UK, we feel safe in the knowledge that our property is in very good hands. Before dealing with Jan and her team at Duncan Yeardley, I had been running successful retail businesses. So I know a thing or two about what good customer service is. Something that is (sadly) lacking in most places these days, in my experience. So dealing with Jan and her team is a real 'breath of fresh air.'

Unfortunately not a good experience for us. We had our house on the market with DY for 14 weeks and didn’t get one offer. We then changed estate agents and SSTC within 6 days and had 3 offers on the table. We regret not going with our second choice of estate agents from the beginning as we wasted over 3 months with DY, as we were tied into a contract. Who knows what they were telling viewers as they had to ask us after over 8 weeks to confirm our parking situation. We also got told misleading feedback which wasn’t even for our house we found out in the end! They had no respect or care for our house, so if you’ve got a small 2 bed terraced, don’t bother. I believe they’re only interested in the big houses that make them more money. Luckily they didn’t get a penny out of us.

Not an experience I would want to repeat. My son’s house sale was originally dealt with by Colin who was very professional and effective. Unfortunately he left and the service from then on was dire. Numerous agents were showing people around the house, most of which clearly didn’t know the property which was evident from the video doorbell - they couldn’t answer very basic questions from prospective buyers. When a sale was agreed Callum was nothing but pushy and demanding, constantly insinuating that the sale would fall through if certain things weren’t done when he clicked his fingers. It was a complicated situation and his attitude made the process far more stressful than it should’ve been, he only seemed interested in a swift conclusion to get his commission.

After 6 years of using this agent I had to discontinue our working relationship after they placed one of their own employees in my property. As a tenant Miss D was the worst I have ever known in 30 years of being a landlord. They damaged the floor and the wardrobe doors, did not clean the property and then claimed they did not have to stick by the inventory as it was not compiled by a third paryt!!!! The owners decided to stand by their employee without any really comprehension of what had occurred. We got several apologies but nothing was even done and so I would never go near or recommend this agent again. Had to go through the deposit resolution service to claim damages. The DRS upheld every one of our claims. They also failed to find tenants for other properties on several occasions and I had to go to Romans who were able to let the properties within days. Tenants are far more likely to go with the more well known agents in Bracknell.

These guys are second to none. I found them originally when looking into buying a property and was impressed with their vetting process so decided to ask them to value my own home aswell. From there we came to partner with them on the sales of 4 new build properties in Bracknell which were marketed so well went on to sell before the build was even completed for more than the market valuation. Super smooth process all the way through from offer to sale thanks to an exceptional office team that made everything fall into place. Let it be said there is no way I won’t be using them again in the future for all my sales and lettings. 5 stars well earned and there’s should be a special category for 6 stars just for these guys alone.

Wasted 14 months... that’s right, 14 MONTHS trying to move with DY, after which we were left in the same property we started in and incurred £3K+ in fees! Absolutely heartbreaking. After an initial 7-month chain, DY's seller pulled their property - failed move #1. Then, after another 7-month chain and wait, DY's buyer failed to ever get a mortgage offer in place, but only choosing to tell us there was a problem 1 month before our own offer was due to expire - failed move #2! The only reason this is a 2-star review and not 1-star is due to the considerable efforts of 1 particular member of the transaction support staff who tried their very best to make up for the mistakes of the rest of the team, but regrettably for us to no avail. Don't waste your time, and certainly don't waste your money - choose D.I.Y. not DY!

The agent Jessica we worked with was nice and did her best but Duncan Yeardley uses a referencing company called Goodlord. This is the reason for the low score. The referencing company they use is incompetent and this reflects on Duncan Yeardley and any other agency that uses Goodlord. The referencing company Goodlord did not cooperate and even lied about a phone call they had with an employer, I witness that call but Goodlord said it never happened and therefore they are liars and cannot be trusted with private information. They also cost us the property we were working towards moving into. Because Duncan Yeardley uses this Goodlord referencing company and supports them, this mean that Duncan Yeardley works with dishonest companies and so I cannot trust the agents or the Landlords that work with them. We purposely avoid Duncan's Yeardley properties now and will not work with anyone who uses the same referencing company. What a nightmare.

Another turned up 10 minutes late for a viewing (I was walking my dogs and saw). We had a very keen 2nd viewing who went away with lots of questions. Now, I'm no property developer or anything but this was the ninth time I have sold a house, usually because of career moves, so I have dealt with as many estate agents. All of which gives me a perspective that I believe is relevant.
Without doubt, Duncan Yeardley are the best agents I've ever dealt with by a country mile.
Their marketing is completely on point and REALLY effective. Our house was snapped up within a couple of days and at a price we did not believe it could achieve and which covered their fees and more.
We have also purchased a property through them and I cannot complement them highly enough for the way they listened carefully to what we wanted and tried to fulfil those requirements, ultimately finding us the property that we believe will be our 'Forever Home'.

Looking overall performance of Letting Agents in the area this team does their job, probably this is why they have such a high rating. I can't explain just how incredible Gina and the rest of the team at Duncan Yeardley were. Gina was our 'go-to' person, coordinating everyone to make our move happen, but she ended up being our guardian angel!!
She's absolutely professional while being incredibly approachable and friendly (a rare combination) and is completely on the ball and driven to get the job done.

Duncan Yeardley were amazing! We had chosen them due to the MANY recommendations on Facebook from other happy sellers. The Manager came round and he was extremely lovely about the house and made us feel at ease and positive about selling with them. We sold within a week, so we were extremely pleased about that. Unfortunately the house we were buying fell through after 2 months but a HUGE thank you goes to Gina who managed the expectations of our buyers, ensuring we didn't lose them and everyone was kept in the loop. In the housing market, it's fairly obvious that agencies don't care about letting properties.
I found that with Duncan Yeardly, that isn't the case. Aisha specifically, and the letting team at Bracknell were very responsive, professional and showed great consideration with my recent property search.
I was always through to a member of the team when calling, which is always a struggle with any agency. In addition to this, they were open and honest with all the questions I asked.

I have now bought and sold a property through Duncan Yeardley, and the reason I used them for my recent sale was purely down to the great service I had received previously. Viewings were done professionally and respectfully, and I was updated at all times. Many estate agents will lose interest once an offer has been accepted, but the attention that the team provided while the sale progressed through to exchange and completion really was what sets them apart. Gina, their Sales Progressor, single handedly kept the chain together through testing times with lockdown combined with other issues that meant the transaction was far from straight forward. Without her none of us would have moved, and you won't know the value of this until you have been in a tricky chain! I wouldn't hesitate to use them again, and would recommend to anyone.

We had a fantastic experience with Duncan Yeardley estate agents, they were not our selling agent but were involved with our purchase. Initially Lucy Morrison was fantastic with communication and they always acted with the best interest of their vendors in mind. When the purchase was agreed we had a very rocky path in getting the transaction through to completion with 3 broken chains at the bottom. Throughout this process Gina Overington was fantastic and kept us informed every step of the way. We dealt with 3 estate agents ‘sales progression’ departments and Gina was far and away the best, she actually progresses and pushes sales forwards rather than just forwarding emails from solicitors. In this day and age where you can question if Estate Agency is a commodity sale the extra value Gina brings justifies the fee. We would not hesitate to use DY for our sales in the future

I've used Duncan Yeardley as my lettings agent for my house round the corner from them since my prior agent was taken over by a less than amusing bunch. From the first meeting to discuss the service I needed and that they could provide to the selling of my house several years later they have provided me with excellent advice, good tradesmen, quick and effective property management. They took on the work and their management did not intrude into my life. That's all I could ask for.
When selling the house for me they took it on, managed the sale around both COVID19 and the needs of the existing tenant, working closely with me, the tenant, and the buyer's chain to hold the sale together in remarkably difficult circumstances. They achieved a sale price that pleased us both. Better, they overcame a tiny hurdle for me on contract exchange day with grace and charm.
What I like most is that they have a passion for excellence and customer service. Their staff are human, and when they make a very rare error they put it right.

An Amazing service by Duncan Yeardley. I bought my home 10 years back and had a fantastic experience.
Now when I wanted to sell my home I never looked anywhere else and I was right.
When "Lee Maynard" came to value the property, he was realistic and encouraged me to go with the correct value of the property.
First viewing happened within hours of keys been handed over the offer accepted the next day. Because of Covid-19, the viewing happened virtually, selling the house in this pandemic time is really hard and without Duncan Yeardley it would have never been possible.
It took less than 6 weeks between the physical viewing by the buyer and the completion date (both contract and completion happened on the same date). I cannot be more happier.
"Keith" and "Gina" kept me updated throughout the process and also with their timely response.
If you have a house to sell/buy in Bracknell, Duncan Yeardley is the place to go.

Both Lucy who has dealt with my enquiries and Samantha who was very patient taking me on viewings were knowledgeable, friendly and made every step of the process easier and stress free.
At the same time of dealing with Duncan Yeardley I was also dealing with a number of other agents in the area and the gulf in quality and value I received was huge. And this is only because I can't leave zero stars. Lettings team have no understanding of legal matters and incorrectly quote ARLA and the law. They hold themselves out to be experts with limited knowledge and are the most unethical estate agent I have ever worked with. Landlords I would strongly advise to avoid DY as they are not interested in maintaining any sort of professional relationship but rather a high turnover of tenants. As you can see below from the ridiculous reply below they have no interest in customer service. It was us who terminated working with DY due to their incompetence and failure to admit they are in the wrong.

We used Duncan Yiedley to sell our property in the Crown Wood area and they were fantastic from start to finish. We found a property we wanted to buy before listing our own and therefore were in a rush to sell. Viewings were arranged by them prior to the listing going live and the property sold for the full asking price within 2 days. The staff are all very professional, honest and great communicators which put us at ease. The whole process has been relatively stress free, largely due to the excellent work Lucy does in chasing the chain and ensuring everyone does what they need to in order to complete swiftly. I would certainly recommend DY to anyone and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

I highly recommend DY. They acted in the sale of our Crown Wood property and managed to sell it twice in a week (first buyer withdrew). They are professional and honest, which I found in my recent buying/selling experience is a trait not shared by all estate agents! We chose Duncan Yeardley to sell our house as we had bought the property through them around 5 years ago and had a very positive experience with them then. This time when selling, we used Duncan Yeardley as our sole agents throughout the entire process. This is predominantly due to the fact that the people are an absolute pleasure to deal with; Real, honest people, who understand the emotions and burden of this process. Having spoken to or had conversations with the majority of the team I would say they are all very genuine individuals who care deeply about what they do and their clients. We have found other agencies in the past to be very immature and flippant in comparison.
