Both myself and my partner applied to let a property from Entwistle Green and the whole process was a nightmare. Amy, the advisor that we dealt with, was incredibly unresponsive to any form of communication. We found ourselves practically begging to get a response half of the time. Despite many shortcomings, we persisted with the application process as we really liked the property. In the end, we didn’t even get the property we wanted, we only found out because they had updated the house to “let agreed” on a rental website. Amy, or any of the other staff, hadn’t even bothered to contact us to tell us our application hadn’t been successful. A stressful and miserable process from start to finish.

A disabled family renting a property through these agents. Always had a “can do” attitude but not neccessarily reflected equally in actions.
Very poor to deliver a safety and deal with issues resulting from the house and dealing with landlords can be heavily biased not towards the tenant.

- damp and mould in bedroom
- mould in living room as a result of a hole outside which eventually got re plastered (without addressing underlying issues. Left the socket exposed a number of several weeks. Still hadn’t been re-painted.
Landlord proposed to come and fix - failed to come out on two seperate occasions.
Such a cowboy attempt on this whole situation on communication and resolution.
Advice is to stay well away !

Entwistle Green were great at finding us a buyer and I couldn’t fault engagement from the team throughout the marketing of my property. They were very proactive and quick to book buyers in for viewings which was good, and always kept me updated on interest from prospective buyers. The only downfall was throughout the conveyancing process as I found that my emails weren’t responded to towards the end and I was unable to get hold of someone a lot of the time for an update. However as a whole, I received good service.

Staff were always friendly and very willing to help throughout the sale. The sale of my house only took about 4 weeks to find a buyer, after that all problems that occurred were problems found by solicitors, this is where I found Entwistle Gleen to be helpful. I would recommend them to friends etc.

Amelya is the worst sale progressor in the area. Really need a better one. My sale fell through after months of waiting and waiting for the buyer's response. I raised early warnings as well which were ignored. Sale progression is not just about throwing useless emails here and there!

We had gone to see a house on Tabley av in widnes
Only 2 pictures up to see
As we got in the house you could tell just why no more had been took. We had been told they had not had time to take any a few weeks on and it is still the same no more pictures but they have now had time to take more.
Offer put in for a house in widnes accepted then get told an off had been put in by someone else who viewed it 2 week before.
We had not heard from Entwistle for a full week which was strange as surly they could of told us.
3 days later we are told the house is not for sale and has been took off the market.
Like getting blood out of a stone with these
No updates from them when the other offer went in for a full week and under false pretences viewed a house the was dated and a building site

Amy and Oliver have been and are the best I have ever dealt with when renting a property.
Both Amy and Oliver have assisted me in renting my current property and have been in contact since when required for booking in house checks and general tenant check ups to see how I am living in the property and also how I am doing on a personal level which I found very much appreciated.
By far the best letting agency by a country mile compared to others and I feel this is because of the excellent customer care and service provided by Amy and Oliver.

My mums flat flooded due to a leaking pipe, it's been over 9 weeks and both Entwistle and the landlord have still not fixed the problem. Black mould has overtook the floors and walls in the bedroom causing my mum to have breathing difficulties, a very nasty cough, headaches and nose bleeds. Both Entwistle and the landlord have been made aware or the extent of this health and safety issue and both denied responsibility at first until I went through the contract to disprove their claims. I have contacted them on Friday 15th after 4 p.m. No one answered. I have called Warrington branch Entwistle green and they were very helpful by calling them too and leaving them a message to give me a call back. I have received call from Entwistle green on 10.45 on 6th September. I did a request to be to view 2 houses on Saturday 23 in the afternoon after 2p.m.
Both houses are fully booked but free in the morning and in the working week. Agent is rude and did not mentioned much details about the houses and a very poor planner as I have had viewing for houses with other people at the same time effortlessly. Do not recommend.

This company where excellent in achieving what we set out to do. Sell our house for the price we wanted as quickly and efficiently as possible, job done. The front line staff where helpful, pleasant and responsive.
However, the support/administration were poor. The contract, plans and descriptions were all wrong and had to be constantly checked and amended. Issues continued after sale before eventually being resolved after several phone calls and much effort.
Hence the reason for 4 and not 5 stars.

I required a specific type of mortgage which i struggled with some lenders as they were unable to supply. I contacted Paddy who quickly found the product I required. His knowledge was outstanding, he kept me fully appraised on every aspect of the mortgage, fully explained everything to me, kept in regular contact via e mail and telephone. This made the whole process a smoother and more pleasurable experience. I can not sing Paddy’s praises highly enough. The whole process was quicker than I thought because of Paddy’s help. I would without doubt fully recommend Paddy and Countrywide Mortgages.

I can not recommend Paddy highly enough. Great friendly guy who will go above & beyond to help get the best Morgage deal available to you. He is straight up & honest, (a high quality in my book) without trying to 'sell' anything to you for the sake of commission. He listens & works with you without judgment of your circumstances, is easy to contact & returns calls & emails as soon as he is able. Hey you can even have a giggle with him. He really has seen myself & my husband through some rough weeks but we have got there eventually, Thankyou Paddy for all your hard work.

As soon as I met him he was welcoming and put me at ease. He was friendly and broke down my ‘no sales’ barriers. I rented a home in Runcorn through this office. Rachel, the negotiator, explained the process clearly and concisely the first time we met. She followed up promptly with updates throughout the process and always answered my questions accurately and timely. On the day I signed the final paperwork, Rachel showed me around the home in detail, explaining those features of the home that I was unaware of or unfamiliar with. She went out of her way to make sure I would be comfortable in my new home.The fees charged are reasonable and appropriate. I would confidently recommend these services.

Absolutely terrible very shady dishonest agents, who led me on after I payed for my survey and searches, dealing with Sammy who would never return my calls or give me a straightforward answer Sammy and Roff are very shady and don't give you straight answer and can lead you on only to tell you something different later if you don't want to lose money stay away from these agents!

The Widnes branch of Entwistle Green are excellent. I first contacted them last year in order to sell a flat on my behalf. They were very professional and inspired confidence immediately, so I chose them over two other agencies. They arranged multiple viewings in a short space of time and one of the viewers made an offer very quickly. I'm certain a big part of this was down to the enthusiasm of the staff.
When it came time to finding a tenant for my house I naturally contacted Entwistle Green again and wasn't disappointed. They found me a suitable tenant to move in within one day of the house becoming available and the whole process took less than 3 weeks. As with the house sale they kept in contact throughout the whole process and were always available if I needed to contact them.
I'd thoroughly recommend Entwistle Green Lettings in Widnes.

I bought my property through entwistle green widnes but had already marketed my property with another estate agent. I visited lots of estate agents in the area i was looking for a particular property...only entwistle called me regularly and were proactive...this resulted in me purchasing a property from them . Lee from entwistle was fabulous he kept me informed at all stages and went above and beyond his role. I recommended them to two friends who were selling properties. The properties were sold within two weeks. Entwistle green offer great customer service and are profesional.
