From the manager down to the other colleagues makes no difference at all because everyone is totally committed. Went to a viewing and said I'm interested in making an offer. Booked another viewing just to check everything would be fine. All seemed good so went to sort a mortgage application out. Finally phone to make an offer to be told this property is for cash buyers only-this wasn't stated in any adverts of the property nor was I told at any viewings. My time has been wasted and this is just a really unprofessional situation. Something like this should have been said in the advert and especially at a viewing.

Reading these other reviews I’m wondering if we used the same agency, as our experience couldn’t be farther from this!
Personable people but absolutely atrocious agents. I genuinely would proceed with EXTREME caution, or preferably consider using a different agency. These issues below are the tip of the iceberg…..
Over £3000 fee for the most minimal service I’ve ever experienced in my life!
A 65year old lady selling her home of 35 years………DONT expect this agency to advocate for you, nor safeguard or act in your best interest.
You will be fobbed off and lied to and they will avoid sharing any significant information with you such as your buyers own sale falling through, or the buyer using their in-house mortgage broker who had taken their fees and then left the agency without providing the service.
An offer accepted for “a quick sale” has taken almost 6 months due to withholding information and poor communication to their paying clients!
Never bothered to put a sold sign on the property or even edit the website to say under offer, despite accepting what we know know was an illegitimate (unknown to us but obviously to them) offer almost 6 months ago.
The buyer of our property was treated far far better than us as the vendors, which is likely because he was using their mortgage services and so they had conflict of interests.
I’m so disappointed in the service they have provided and have serious concerns about their practices and will be raising a complaint with the ombudsman as a matter of urgency. But AVOID using this agency at all costs

When we arrived to drop the keys at the office we were explaining some of our concerns and were warned that the buyer was about to arrive to collect the keys and so we might want to leave!
Imagine being in that profession and conducting yourselves like that.

Had a few occasions were I was told people had left a message to enquire with them, Entwistle were then unable to chase this up.
Lots of viewings which didn’t translate into offers.
Appeared very quick to recommend we accept an offer under asking price despite the price stating it was offers over.
On the plus side we did get viewings.

We are currently in the process of buying our first home, which is advertised with Entwistle green. We are dealing with Jack Newnham who has been so accommodating to booking in viewings best suited to our busy schedules. Jack has been consistent with keeping myself updated with the process and has always made sure we are happy with our current mortgage advisor as he can sort this out too.
We had our our mortgage advisor so knowing there was always a helping hand as first time buyers was so restful.
I look forward to the sale completing and trust Jack with the process as he has been amazing so far.

Absolutely atrocious and unprofessional. Lyons Estates are a much more professional company to deal with. I have no skin in the game in recommending Lyons, other than I am an extremely satisfied seller of theirs who had a shocking experience with this Entwistle Green branch as did some of my house viewers. My viewers reported up to three weeks of trying to arrange a viewing appointment as the comms were so bad. They also lied to viewers that an open house would be happening one weekend and to wait for that, which was absolutely not arranged. Blatant lies. I honestly would avoid.

Would give 0 stars if I could- I have been trying to book a second viewing on a house to then put an offer in and I cannot for the life of me get anyone to to phone or email me back. I have called 75 times since Friday, left 4 voicemails, 2 messages through rightmove and 1 direct email. No response - the property I want has been on the market since June and has been reduced in price - I guess I know why that is now.

In my experience I've found them about as trustworthy as you'd expect estate agents to be. They stonewalled me for weeks on end - I suspect they were trying to wear me down so I'd give up and accept the original price.
