After not getting a response from emails about us wanting to get a valuation to sell our home going through probate. We gave them a call, they had initial computing problems with trying to book a valuation in so called me back later to confirm. We arranged a viewing at 1.30 a few days later. I was called the day before to confirm and I explained I would be taking my two children and would they make sure they come on time or earlier if possible (was told between 1-1.30 definitely). I received an automated text reminding me about the valuation at 1.30.
I arrived at 12.55pm and sat outside the house until 1.45 with not a call or text to explain the delay. Must not need the custom. Won't be using them now. Maybe they need a reminder text...

Avoid Entwistle Green especially agent Joe Jaison.
I paid full rent and deposit, but the property was full of damp, mold, and damage completely unfit to live in. When I reported this on day one, they refused any refund. Extremely unprofessional and unfair. Think twice before trusting them.

Repeatedly Ignored – Extremely Unprofessional
I’ve tried to arrange a viewing for a property on Ravenswood Road, L13 — which they still have listed on Zoopla and their own website — but despite calling during office hours and leaving a voicemail, I’ve had absolutely no response.
This isn’t the first time I’ve had issues with this branch. A few months ago, they told me the same property wasn’t for sale — clearly it was. This has been going on for years: unreturned calls, zero follow-up, and a complete lack of interest in dealing with serious buyers.
After checking other reviews, I now see I’m not the only one. Viewings missed, phones never answered, listings mishandled — it’s an ongoing pattern.
If you’re a seller using this branch, I’d seriously question whether they’re doing anything to help sell your property.

Sold our house with Entwistle Green. Matt was great at the beginning although I can’t say much more was great as they never answered the phone, never replied to voice mails we left, they were always too busy to take the house viewings & the one house viewing they took for us they turned up late. No communication when offers were put in. Got what we wanted for the house but I can’t say I would use them again. Honest review for anyone thinking of selling with Entwistle Green old swan.

Unfortunately I’ve not had the best experience with Entwistle Green. Amazing sales pitch but that’s where it ends.
1. Visits are not conducted appropriately. Thankfully neighbours have kept an eye on things for me, turns out they’ve literally been in and out of the house for a very short period of time. One two separate occasions they failed to lock the front upvc door which left the property insecure. When I questioned this they claimed that they had done so and recorded a video - however ring door bell footage of my house from the neighbour clearly shows otherwise. This frankly wasn’t good enough.
2. Then they’ve stated that the property was overpriced and I felt brow beaten to reduce it to get someone through the door. I’ve followed their instructions and this has been given the run around as we’ve been clear that we wouldn’t accept such a low offer.
3. Phone lines and emails are rarely answered. Constantly going to machine, and when they are picked up, as there are several new staff it’s clear they don’t know how to manage sellers expectations. I’m informed that I’ll get feedback however we’ve had to chase this on every occasion.
The estate agent has frankly left us feeling burnt, disillusioned and frankly out of pocket and we’ve felt that we’ve go zero trust in them, we don’t believe they have chased any buyer given poor communication, not advertised - been up for nearly 3 months and there’s still no for sale sign that we’ve had to instruct them that we are cancelling the contract. We’ve subsequently gone elsewhere.
They’ve informed us they’ve got new staff and a member of staff on maternity leaves. This isn’t our problem, they clearly can’t manage, and the manager I found was abrupt if not bordering on rude. We’ve escalated a complaint over the above to country wide and would advise to avoid

I can see why this estate agents has such bad reviews called a dozen times to arrange a viewing for a property with no answer or told they will call me back to arrange a date but never do.
I feel sorry for the sellers missing out on potential buyers I will be contacting the property owner directly instead.

Absolutely shocking. I’ve had several viewings with this company, some were fine and had no issues. But twice I had been told no offer could be placed until viewed, and then the same day as the viewing told offers were closed when I called to put in an offer. I have driven from Manchester to lpool for every one, and taken days off work. Waste of time. Other times no one responds to voice mails and messages left after numerous times trying to contact the company. It’s not worth it for the chance that their miscommunication and poor sales management is still the same.

Very poor agent, nobody answers the phones or returns your calls, will almost force people to view your property just to make it look like they are doing their job,no communication from their office staff about anything.
This agent is good for renting not selling and their fees are a joke for the service you get

I don’t like to complain or moan about things but this company didn’t give me any options. I live in London and as I am looking to buy a property in Liverpool I have decided to go and have some viewings. Called the office and they booked me in for one of their properties. Drove to Liverpool and got to their property, no one at the property. They didn’t inform me that vendor will conduct the viewing so tried to call them 15 times after I got at tge property but no answer at all. However, the viewing took place, spoke with the vendor about 40 minutes, very nice person and he mentioned that he is more than happy to go ahead with me and asked to contact the office and make the offer. All good, got home and called the office. After a while someone picked me the phone and informed me that Alex (the lady who is dealing with sales and the one who never pick her calls up) it’s very very busy and I need send an email with my offer. Sent the email with my offer and next day I was informed to increase my offer as there are other people interested. Increased my offer and sent the email and unfortunately this is where having a contact with this Alex ended as she never got back to me since. Tried to call the office again and again and again and been told that she is very busy but she will get back to me with an update asap or if there is needed to increase my offer. But nothing, nada, niente!! Not even an email!!!! After more than one week of trying to get in touch with this super extra busy lady I found out that the property which I wanted to buy is marked as sold. Sent them an email straight away and asked how is possible to sell the property without giving me the chance to increase the offer or to get back to me, to give me an update, something, anything!!! Of course that no one replied to my email so decided to cross my fingers and call again. Finally she decided to speak to me and very iritated she told me off that I can email to the head office, I can speak to the vendor so literally I can do whatever I want as she doesn’t give a s*it!! That was literally her attitude. So I have decided to write this review in URGING you people, please do not waster your precious time with this company and especially with Old Swan branch!! They just DON’T CARE about you and if you don’t give them a good reason (????????????) to hold a property for you they will bid with it!! SHAME ON YOU!!!!!

I did not have a positive experience in trying to sell my property with Entwistle Green (Old Swan) They gave an impressive sales pitch but failed to deliver on all of their promises. The list could go on but here are just a few of the issues I experienced:
1. I had a number of potential buyers contact me directly as they were unable to get through to the agent.
2. The viewings that I was present for consisted of a gentleman letting the prospective buyers into the house and waiting around whilst they looked round. No attempt at providing any information about the house.
3. I was advised that all potential buyers would be financially checked before any viewings took place. I found this was not the case after an offer had been made.
4. I had to constantly chase to receive any kind of feedback from the viewings.
5. The scheduled viewings would often not take place as they failed to confirm the viewings on the day with the potential buyer.
I ended up instructing another agent (Hunters) after 3 months. Hunters were absolutely amazing. They got my property sold, making sure I didn't miss out on my dream property. Hunters kept me fully informed and every viewing carried out by Leah Connor turned into offer.

If I could give a rating of -5 stars I would, had my property on the market with this company for 12 months, after having offers in excess of £15k below the asking price and being told they strongly recommended me to take the offer!
After taking the house off the market for 2 months I put it for sale with another company who within 4 weeks got me THE FULL ASKING PRICE for the property, throughout my experience it felt like all they cared about was making a quick sale and meeting sale targets rather than looking after my interests

We have initially put an offer on a property(freehold) Street on Friday 11th March. I spoke to an agent called Alex and she said, she would give us a call on Monday 14th. Since then I have never received any call from her. I have contacted their office 5 times and left messages with other agents. sent an email on 21st requesting an update from Alex. Finally today 22nd had a reply from her to say vendor is going with previous buyer. No loss for me as I have already been offered other properties. Very poor communication and bad quality support. If you're looking for peace of mind and trust go with a different agency and avoid them. Although I might be unlucky to receive this bad service but I would not recommend them to anyone.
To respond to your comment, as a manager you have to investigate this further. I apologise to say this very rudely but your employee might miss lead you to legit their action. I came to your branch as soon as we were requested for documents with my wife at the time and presented all my employment, bank statement (with the full amount) and IDs (passport). Your employee(a lady) looked at them and said will get back to us. Yet never did.
