15th Sep 2025 (9 mo. ago)I wasn't overly impressed by the estate agent. While they were upfront about the market and the difficulty in selling, I don't believe they were actively engaged in the marketing of the property. While presence for viewings, I felt that the agent showing lack knowledge of the properly and area with the owners really providing the viewing. When recieving an offer, there was an underlying pressure to accept a bid which was well below our expectations and only through our push back we were able to get a more satisfactory offer. Something I don't think we could have got with the guidance of the estate agent
18th Jun 2026 (17 days ago)Friendly, professional and above all always made time to see us in person. All the team in the Blackheath office were excellent. At a time when so much of what we do is totally online, this personal side really made all the difference.

29th Mar 2025 (1 year ago)FJL produced a very good brochure with nice photos but they suggested we reduce the asking price which they recommended in the beginning. They had the house on the market for 5 months but we never received an offer even when.price was reduced.

Cameron was super responsive, supportive and helpful whenever we needed him. You hear all sorts of bad stories about landlords / agents - Cameron and Brown & Brooke buck that trend happily!
26th Sep 2025 (9 mo. ago)Recently worked with Heath Estates on a rental transaction. Unfortunately, there was a complication. Never wanted, but these things happen in life. Sue, Sarah and the team handled the issue quickly, graciously and with the utmost integrity. They made a stressful situation much easier to handle, and I would not hesitate to recommend this agency.
31st May 2026 (5 weeks ago)I selected Dexters as I had bought the flat from them 8 years ago in Charlton and was impressed by the service I received from Demie and Maria. However the staff has completely changed since and it feels like it’s run by not so experienced people. Lot of communication errors , not following up on time . Many times I got a feeling my flat was not the priority and weekly calls felt like “tick in the box” calls where it was clearly apparent the agent was multitasking raffling papers in background while having conversation. No single point of contact who is selling the flat, being passed around agent to agent. It was evident that the communication within the team wasn’t there which affected the sale . I would not recommend dexters .

26th Jun 2026 (9 days ago)I highly recommend Comber & Co. I competed today on the sale of my mother’s house. I worked with the founder and owner Jeremy Comber throughout. His knowledge of property in Blackheath is remarkable. He project-managed to get the house to market including decorating and cleaning. He is a delight to work with, always available along with his team. He judged the price perfectly and the house was sold 7 weeks after going on the market. Fantastic personal service, support the independent businesses.

Communication throughout the process was consistent with regular updates and guidance throughout the time they were marketing my property. Thank you Karen for being such an amazing support to me during what was a stressful time. Suzanna made me feel completely supported throughout the entire process. She gave me thoughtful advice, was very responsive and did such a great job organising everything including giving access for trades people and chasing the solicitors. I would recommend her to anyone.
10th Jan 2023 (3 years ago)I've been letting my flat through Comber for more than 15 years and never been anything other than fully satisfied with the service. As well as finding suitable tenants very quickly (I suspect their deep knowledge of the area makes them the go-to agency in Blackheath), they regularly inspect the property to make sure it is being well looked after and are very quick to let me know if they are made aware of any problems between inspections so that I can resolve them quickly. They have a small army of trusted contractors for repairs and essential maintenance, which is a great help for me as a landlord and good for the tenants as they know their concerns will be dealt with quickly and thoroughly. It's a very personal service - even the company's founder will often get personally involved - and one I would highly recommend to anyone looking to buy, sell, let or rent in the Blackheath area.
