If I could give them 100 stars I would! The level of service and absolute professionalism from JDM in Blackheath has been truly astounding. From the moment I listed my property, to the nail biting end, I could not fault Gemma with her absolute determination to get my sale over the line. Gemma has been so incredibly responsive, very empathetic to my circumstances and so on the ball with every little detail, I honestly don’t know how I would have survived the last few months without her. Gemma was consistently chasing solicitors, updating me on a daily basis and making sure everything was running smoothly and also being so reassuring that everything would work out. In fact the entire team, Eleanor, Elaine and Stuart have followed up so comprehensively, and with great speed, with everything that needed doing. They took the time to properly research the market and had an open, honest discussion with us about pricing. The figure we agreed on was one we felt very comfortable with — and they were confident in achieving it. That confidence was backed up by a clear strategy and strong execution.
The marketing was excellent. The photos were high quality, the property description was thoughtfully written (not just a generic template), and the listing across platforms like Rightmove and Zoopla was handled seamlessly. Everything felt polished and well-managed.
Communication throughout the process was first-class. They handled interactions with our buyer professionally and efficiently, and were always prompt in responding to any questions or clarifying points for us. We never felt left in the dark.

I have just bought my house through JDM Blackheath, and I wanted to say what fantastic service I received as a buyer. The chain was somewhat lengthy, and there were various complications along the way. Both Gemma and Stuart were wonderful throughout. They were always available to speak to me when I called, and they did everything they could to ensure that the purchase got over the line.
Both Gemma and Stuart were so kind, personable and understanding. They kept me informed of every update, and when I was panicking and feeling despondent, they were calming and reassuring. The service feels very personal, and that they genuinely care about both the vendor and the purchaser. Both are so knowledgeable and experienced within the property market that I knew I was in the safest of hands throughout the course of the long transaction.

I listed my flat in Charlton with JDM and they sold it for me. They got a buyer fairly quickly but there were a few challenges with the management company issuing EWS1 forms that delayed completion a bit. Throughout the process the team at JDM ( Stuart, Gemma) were so professional, transparent and timely in responding to emails and suggesting solutions to get the sale over the line. MARK emailed me and said we did not except the offer because you asked for a deduction, every where you go in life you try for the cheapest rate, (right) being car's, bikes, skateboard, foot ball, Trainer's, I only asked one question that was can you please if you can lower the price a little bit if not don't worry and I will pay the maximum price. He replied and said the market is strong so I'm sorry you have not got the property .I believe the place is still vacant but unfortunately commission is the key?

Absolutely brilliant service from the JDM team. I recently rented out my family home for the first time. Mark and Jack in particular, have been very supportive, efficient and professional throughout the process of getting the house ready and on to the market. A lot of work was needed in the house and garden. They gave thoughtful, sensitive advice and guidance as well as finding a succession of brilliant tradesmen for the works. I’m not based in London and was therefore totally reliant on JDM to be responsible for arranging everything for me. JDM are managing the sale of a local property I was interested in. I called 4 times over the space of a week and left my details, financial position for a call back and no one bothered to call back. Eventually when I did get a call back, it was to tell me they had carried out 15 viewings and had multiple offers so the vendor will not carrying out further viewings, which means I had missed out on a great property. Incredibly Frustrating!

I used JDM Blackheath to let out my flat recently, and the service I got from Mark and Payge was first class, head and shoulders ahead of any other lettings agent I have used before. If I compare them to a certain online only estate agent I had used previously, JDM were much more thorough in vetting prospective tenants. Instead of picking the first one with sufficient financial means, they chose the one that they thought would be a better tenant. JDM were also much more proactive and helpful is sorting out questions and issues that the new tenant had.

I cannot recommend JDM highly enough. We were originally letting our property through another agency who were not pulling their weight. We switched to JDM a couple of years ago and we are absolutely delighted with them. They are very professional, caring and helpful and they go the extra mile to ensure everything is as it should be. They are thorough in compliance of letting a property, e.g. certification, quarterly checks on the flat, ensuring the tenants are happy, arranging for any works to be done etc. They are very quick to respond whenever needed.
We recently looked at the potential of letting out our own home and once again, the professionalism shown was very much appreciated. We haven't ended up letting our home but if we had, JDM would certainly have been our choice of agent.

Mark managed to get me a real-life house viewing (during the lockdown, sorry I know it's not the best thing to do), and had the landlord meet me in person. This is the second time I have used JDM Blackheath to find a new tenant for our flat. The first year we rented our property out we used JDM alongside another Letting Agent and found JDM to be more professional, helpful - with just the right level of communication throughout the process. And they got us the the tenant!
This time around I didn't have to think twice about using JDM to act solely on our behalf. Most of my dealings have been with Mark, the Lettings Manager; he has been brilliant throughout and super helpful including contractor recommendations and everything we need from start to finish. A huge bonus was that we had virtually no void period in between tenancies. I’d been attempting to sell my property through an online only estate agent and whilst I was able to achieve two instructions to purchase none of these went to exchange. I felt that it was the lack lustre approach taken by the online agency that led to the lack of progress. In addition I had to deal directly with the buyer to prompt things along.
I turned to JDM as I had met them when they originally valued the property and was impressed by their polite and professional manner. I only wish I went with them straight away.
We got a buyer in the first week and where JDM stood out was their commitment to see the sale through. JDM dealt with all required access to the property, liaised with the buyer referring any matters to me promptly and were readily available. I really felt supported by them and would have no hesitation in using them again.

They chased up solicitors and sped up the process and as a result saved us time and money. The only estate agent I would recommend in London.

Having let property in Blackheath for 20 years now and having used various local estate agents, I cannot express how much easier life is now, due to the good relationship I have with jdm. Each staff member always gives you a very warm welcome upon each visit to the Blackheath office. Any queries or issues are dealt with immediately, advice is given and taken heed, finishing with great results. A lot of the hassle is dealt with by professional and dedicated, knowledgeable staff and I have no intention of changing to another agency in order to find me more tenants. I have also sold through jdm Blackheath and once again, could not fault the service provided. I would definitely recommend jdm.

If you are a Londoner, there are 3 things guaranteed to raise your blood pressure - politicians, lawyers and estate agents! But the JDM Blackheath team is a refreshing change from your average estate agent with an excellent people oriented service culture - they still have the human touch which is so rare nowadays.
They took the trouble to match flats to tenants meticulously and went out of their way to do much more than "their job" to make tenants settle into their homes. With reasonable fees and an honest straightforward approach, they stand head and shoulders above other estate agents + they also restored my faith in humanity! They were very flexible with viewings and polite in all dealings. Easy to deal with them - property management issues sorted immediately and good follow up.
Highly recommended for both landlords and tenants! Wishing the JDM team all the best for many more successful years ahead!

I have been registered with this agent since July and my experiences so far have been excellent. Alex, Richard and Mark and Scott have been exemplary , extremely helpful and have gone the extra mile to help and guide me through possibly renting, possibly buying , possibly doing both.
I had a very quick valuation and it was professionally conducted with prompt follow up. During a time when I wanted to rent my property , Mark went beyond the call of duty to help me and advise.

I bought a property through JDM in Blackheath. Good communications and always helpful. The property we were buying had a tenant and was then empty. JDM took the time to let us in to the property multiple times and even brought over papers from my solicitor on one occasion to save me the trip as they were across the road from each other. I'm not planning on moving anytime soon as I'll hopefully be happy in my new property but would definitely consider JDM when/if I do.
