Viewing appointments were conveniently shared by text, which made everything easy to manage and kept us well informed. The solicitor they recommended was excellent, helping ensure we were always prepared for the next step and that the sale progressed smoothly. If you are wondering which estate agent to put your house on the market with in Cheadle I highly recommend Gascoigne and Halman- don't look anywhere else. We were impressed by their professionalism, friendliness and approach from the very first visit. Rob is an excellent branch manager and is genuine and honest- it didn't feel like we were just another sale. We also found the team to be so efficient and friendly- especially Nicky who worked so hard for everyone involved and was a central force, who moved things along and liaised with everyone throughout. She is very easy to 'work' with during what can be a stressful time (selling a house feels like work!) I recently sold my house in Edgeley through Gascoines. Initially, Rob was excellent. He knew the area better than other estate agents that had given me a valuation and so gave me the confidence to push the price higher- which ultimately turned out to be the right decision as we had lots of interest and offers within a week. From then on Shoshanna dealt with everything. She was always on the other end of the phone if I had queries and was quick back on emails. Mostly though she’s full of energy and positivity and it feels as if nothing is too much trouble…she’s a credit to Gascoines cheadle. I would not hesitate to recommend this branch to anyone! I chose GH initially because the property I wanted to buy was also for sale with another branch of GH, but when I met Lewis I found him very easy to deal with, and his knowledge of the local market invaluable. By taking his advice on where to pitch the asking price, my house generated a lot of interest straight away & I sold for significantly more than the asking price. It was great to have Lewis to deal with the offers for me at this stage. Finding a buyer is really only the start of the process, where I found I needed the support of GH most was the constant chasing of solicitors and other parties involved in order to get to exchange & completion. He spent time outlining options, detailing the services and engendered a spirit of confidence in him and his company without an overt sales pitch. The house was photographed, the write-up presented for review and when ready, we went to market a few days before my holiday. The house sold for in excess of the asking price and was a done deal before I came back home. The entire staff of his branch were positive, supportive and great to have onside. We recently purchased a property where Gascoigne Halman Cheadle were the agents. As such we had no choice in who we were dealing with, but were struck by how helpful and professional everyone was.
Kate was lovely - organised and helpfully advisory with contacts and suggestions, Joe was very patient when we had a subsequent look round and spent far more time than expected, and Lewis was absolutely instrumental in achieving a successful outcome. Calm, measured, reassuring and responsive.
An excellent team, and were we to be looking at selling then I would have no hesitation in using their services.

A wonderfully stress free service. Every member of staff is accountable and quick to respond to any query. Staff are knowledgeable about the market, work hard to monitor every part of the chain up until completion and marketed our property very effectively. This is our second experience of purchasing and selling through Gascoigne Halman (Cheadle) and the commitment of the staff, expecially Kate, couldn't be better.

Not all the estate agent is the same . I found that Joe Campbell is very caring and thoughtful and he has never missed any of our enqrueis. Without his smooth coordination , we might not able to complete the sale on time . We could not thank Joe enough for his dedication and with his great help , we have a hassle free conveyancing process .

Appears they are courteous and accommodating until you have concluded the transaction then they switch to 'incommunicado'. Bought through them in Sep 2018.. asked them many times to come collect their 'SOLD' sign (it eventually fell over in front garden) .. many calls and 15 months later not collected so now in my back garden as an ornament ... Still waiting for them to collect.... Gascoigne Muppets.
Guys.. please come and collect your sign.. i moved in after exchanging in Sep 2018!

Sold my house a few months ago , was not going to leave feedback straight away. Complained about a member of staff, did not listnen to my needs when selling my house, so took it to the manager his responce "have never had anyone complain about my staff" (wrong move) basically I was lying , avoid this place and go next door !! the manager was very rude & unprofessional
