Saw a flat, with what looked like massive blood and other stains all over the carpet which had rips all over in terrible condition, asked if the carpet and other cosmetic painting and bits be done, landlord refused apparently very rude landlord so refused to sign, if landlord is this difficult at the beginning what's he going to be like when you're stuck in a contract, therfore lost my deposit ????... I was very happy with the service I received from the team at Gascoigne Halman in Hale when selling my home recently. Bobby’s guidance regarding the appropriate selling price was clear throughout the process, particularly around the implications for its listing on Rightmove. Viewings were problem-free, feedback from viewers was given to me honestly and the team was always responsive to any questions I had. Vickie was always ‘on it’ and kept me informed of where things were up to in my longish chain. She was pro-active in making sure any holdups in the chain were identified and notified to me. Where do I start with Gascoigne Halman. They have recently sold my house for the asking price and in a very difficult market. This is the 5th transaction that I have been involved in with them and I must say they are the most professional of all the estate agents in the entire Altrincham area. Whether it be Bobby, the manager, Claire and Vicky they have all been thorough, persistent and the perfect agents. In selling a house, it is not just about getting viewers through the door and an offer on the table, but as equally important is the "after offer" service and pushing the sale forward to a completion. Gascoigne Halman have always been brilliant at chasing up solicitors, mortgage companies, surveyors to allow the smooth running of a sale. Being an estate agent is not just about producing a glossy brochure and a desirable over inflated price, but providing an accurate valuation. Many estate agents overinflate prices to attract a listing but the prices are unobtainable. Stick with Gascoigne Halman for a super service.... Read more
