The Hamptons Marlow sales team cover from the Chiltern villages in the north, including Ibstone and Lane End, through to Marlow, Medmenham, Bourne End, Cookham Dean and through to the Thames side village of Hurley before handing over to our neighbouring estate agent offices in Henley, Maidenhead, Beaconsfield and Windsor. The Marlow Sales team are also joined by the Marlow Lettings team. We promote all types and price ranges of property from flats all the way through to Riverside homes and country houses. 2017 was a fantastic year for the office in a challenging market, considering all the changes brought by the ongoing Brexit situation, interest rate and Stamp Duty changes. We have rented out a property for some time; Hamptons have been the managing agent. The Letting Office have always been helpful and informative; in particular Sonja Broderick who always has time to listen to us. During our time we have had a number of property managers; currently Antony Bacon. Have to say Antony has been the best! He has been pleasant and helpful particularly now when we are dealing with a leak which had gone undetected for some time. He understands how we are feeling about the whole thing, is communicative with progress, and always willing to chase contractors to keep things moving.... Read more

My experience with Hamptons in Marlow was extremely disappointing. I enquired about a property and was told it was not possible to pay a deposit without viewing. I was assured I would be the first to view once access was granted. However, when I attended the viewing, the current tenant informed me that others had already been shown the property. I decided the property was right for me and submitted an offer straight after. Despite chasing twice, I eventually discovered that another tenant had already paid a deposit without viewing and had been accepted by the landlord. This was the exact opposite of what I had been told. What made the experience worse was the complete lack of communication. No one followed up with me after I missed out, no courtesy call, and no promised email about alternative properties. In a market where availability is so low and demand is high, estate agents should understand how stressful this process is for people. Instead, this felt like poor service and disregard for the customer. My advice is to be cautious when dealing with this office and ensure you have everything confirmed in writing before relying on their word.... Read more

A poor service for £7,000. We chose Hamptons from 3 very similar agents, as Giles was confident they had buyers interested at the price recommended. Within two weeks we had to reduce the price 5% after only a couple of viewings. Stuart who took over unfortunately got COVID and was off work. We had Zero contact whilst he was off (no other staff??), except if we called, and when we finally recieved a cash offer there seemed to be little action to push this along except if instigated by ourselves. In the end we had to threaten to put the flat back on the market with another agent before the sale completed. Nice guys but seemed to be too busy for our sale.... Read more

I had the utterly awful experience of dealing with Camilla Aspey from the Lettings team at Hamptons in Marlow in September 2020. I have never come across a more rude and obnoxious individual let alone someone working within a ‘client facing’ position. Sadly her whole approach has completely tarnished our view of the agency as a whole. We recently sold a property in Kensington w8 and as a direct result choice not to use Hamptons for the sale. Instead we used John Wood and Knight Frank. Myself and my partners personal assistant have both complained about her to her line manager, although I am not sure what was done as a result of this?Throughout the Lettings process (we rented a cottage in Marlow for a year post sale of our property in Kensington), she was pushy, demanding and her communication was poor at best.
