From the outset, Michael was honest and realistic, offering a genuine valuation of our house rather than giving us a sales pitch. He doesn’t tell you what you want to hear—he tells you what your property is worth and this is what we appreciated.
Michael also found us our new home—exactly what we were looking for—and we were lucky enough to view it and have an offer accepted pre-market.
His support after our offer was accepted and on both sides of the transaction, was excellent. His proactive approach in keeping things moving, especially with solicitors, made such a difference. If it had been possible to pay Michael our solicitors’ fees as well, I absolutely would have!

I recently had a pleasure to be dealing with Leightons when purchasing a home and my experience was very positive.
Most contact I had was with Helen who is amazing at her job and very dedicated and informative, she was constantly 3 steps ahead of everyone else and was on the phone or email with an answer before I could even ask the question.
Having said all that even i only had a little dealings with the rest of the staff I could sense the same level of commitment from Michael, Emma and Charlotte so thank you team for all your hard work and for making all the process very easy. You all should be very proud of the work you do as you are all amazing and if I ever have look for an Estate Agent in the future you guys will definitely be the first place I would come to.

From the start of the process Leightons were great with communication. From arranging the valuation and explaining the process of selling as it was our first time selling and buying, to helping us through the negotiations of the sale of our house as well every stage untill completion. Helen as well as the other team members were always there ready to answer questions and offer support. Looking at all the five star reviews I have to say my experience was definitely not 5*. In fact I wondered on occasions if they actually forgot that we signed a contract for them to sell our house and were the ones paying them to do this. My only advice to anyone who is inexperienced in selling a property is not to agree to break a chain and then find that due to unexpected problems be unable to commit to that date. It is the solicitors who agree exchange and completion dates after discussion with their client. I will never make that mistake again.

Leighton's have without doubt been excellent. At the end of last year they marketed a property that we were very interested in but didn’t have our house on the market. From the outset Micheal was fantastic. He swiftly valued our property & marketed it. Emma was excellent keeping us up dated with viewings & providing us with feedback. Within several weeks our property was under offer!!! And we were then able to secure the property we wanted. Throughout the whole “under offer” process Helen couldn’t do more for us. Communication was brilliant, she ensured the chain was moving along nicely & kept us all in the loop. Helen provided brilliant advice with regards to removal companies. They went out of their way to sort out a whole day worth of viewings at short notice to a restrictive criteria, showing us houses we wouldn't have previously considered (including the one we ultimately bought) - special thanks to Emma for that.
Then throughout the whole process Helen has constantly kept us up to date with the progress of the sale/purchase not just for this property but the whole chain including our for own buyers. Not to mention always being on hand for any random questions I had throughout. Keeping the process completely stress free!
Massive credit to their industry and its almost a shame we are in our forever home now, because I would 100% look to them for any sale or purchase we'd do in the future.

Leighton’s have just sold my house in 8 weeks!!! From beginning to end, Ruby, the Sales Manager, has proactively made sure that everybody in the chain and all the solicitors have been working on this chain of sales and purchases. Her communication skills are superb, dealing with all the clients and legals.
Right from the word ‘go’, Michel outshine all the other estate agents who came to value my house, showing real interest and commitment to the marketing of my property. He listened carefully to all the sales points he could use, and this came back to me via the viewers.
If I sell in the future, I would not hesitate to use Leighton’s. They would be my first choice every time and I cannot recommend them highly enough. They were always available to assuage any concerns I had. In a climate where house selling has been extremely hard, a complete triumph!!!! (Sold for asking price).

With the amazing kindness, going above the already high customer service. Helen made it possible with regular contacts with the chain, solicitors, estate agents to allow us 2 weeks to resell, which we did in order to keep the chain. Helen continued with all contacts and updates, offering very welcome advice, right to the end.
If it wasn't for Helen with all her unbelievable help we would have lost our forever home.

I used Leightons to market our 3 bed Terrace house, It was a renovation project. Right from the start it was apparent that they had in-depth knowledge about the Keighley market and the type of buyer that the house would appeal to. Their market appraisal was very accurate and as a result this led to a quick sale. I was well informed about viewings via email message confirmations and after the viewings Joanne would give instant feedback, which was really useful. I am really impressed with Leightons, especially with Michael who has so much knowledge about everything relating to property, even with layout and design. Can't recommend Leighton's highly enough. Had offers on our house within a week of marketing. Michael was happy to do viewings a bit later in the evening to fit with us and his pictures and marketing were first rate. He builds up a good relationship with potential buyers and uses social media really well to generate interest. He also kept on top of the chain later on so that any delays could be cleared up without any misunderstanding. This is crucial when dealing with solicitors! I hope I don't have to move again for a long time but if I do I will be ringing Leighton's!
