I was looking to buy a property in Silsden and looked on line. Wilman and Lodge had several properties that suited my criteria. I visited Silsden for an overview of the area and viewed the exterior of several properties.
Having decided to investigate further I visited the office on Kirgate where I found the staff to be very friendly and eager to help.
After I’d given my criteria a shortlist of three properties was compiled.
We arranged a convenient time to view the properties, all of which would have been satisfactory but the third was exactly what we were looking for.
After my offer was accepted we wished to visit the property again. Wilman and Lodge arranged for us to meet the vendor there and he proved to be a very informative.
Throughout my dealings with Wilman and Lodge, whether in person or on the telephone, I found their staff to be friendly, cheerful and extremely helpful. They kept in regular communication with me and on several occasions were more helpful than my own solicitor.
I do not intend to move house again so am unlikely to need their services again. However, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone planning to buy or sell property.

Due to living over an hours drive away from the sale of the property, I was extremely happy with their services. All know their jobs and the intricacies of buying and selling houses in an ever changing market, in detail. From the dress code to valuation to marketing to viewings to completion, nothing is too much trouble. But even more than that, they are empathetic, understanding and patient. We bought a property for sale through Wilman and Lodge. Like so many, it wasn’t always plain sailing, but, even though we weren’t her clients, Rachel Stephenson, was nothing but amazing! Incredibly helpful, extremely knowledgeable, 100% on the ball, kept us informed throughout in a timely and professional manner, simply superb. I can’t not mention Sonia too, on move day, completion went to the wire, but Sonia was super helpful, kept me calm and most importantly….gave me my new keys ????!!
