I’m extremely disappointed with the way this agency operates. It’s become very clear that they act solely in the landlord’s interest, with no regard for the tenant’s side.
It’s been a month since we moved out, and we are still waiting for our deposit to be returned. The entire process has been delayed because the agency has spent three weeks trying to obtain a quote for replacing a few spotlights — something so minor that any handyman could sort out in a day.
As someone who works in the construction industry, I find this delay completely unjustified. It feels like the agency is deliberately dragging things out, hiding behind the fact that they have “90 days” to return the deposit — a timeframe that includes dispute resolution, not an excuse to do nothing for weeks.
This is the first time I’ve encountered such poor treatment from a letting agency. Tenants deserve better.

As an experienced landlord, I was looking for another agency to the one I had been using for about 10 years. Rachel and her team were very helpful and informative and to my surprise, very quickly found potential tenants who unfortunately backed out. It may have been guarantor cold feet as the tenants were a young couple with 1st London jobs and in a more expensive area of London.
Unfortunately for M&P, the original agency then found a tenant whom I accepted.

Any questions we had throughout the purchase of our property and there were many, were answered promptly, thoroughly and professionally. Marsh and Parsons were great in every way! My property had been on the market for a while and was struggling to sell. I received a number of letters from Marsh and Parsons offering to give a second opinion, which were non-pushy and helpful and so thought I'd give it a try. Martin gave me a view on how to best re-market it, he discussed with me a range of potential local buyers who would be interested and within a couple of weeks of me switching to him, I had 3 buyers making competitive offers. Negin, was excellent too and supported me throughout - the viewings, offer and post offer processes were very smooth, with frequent contact, helping to resolve issues and then stepping in to finalise the exchange and completion. The worst agency I have dealt in in my life. We had four different property managers in less than one year and unfortunately none of them have been proven helpful. I never write reviews but I don't want anyone to experience what we've been through. If you can avoid, avoid. They don't reply to any messages unless you involve the head office and when they do you will have to wait two weeks before anyone gets back to you. We've now got serious problems in our flat which will probably affect our health AND be a financial burden for the owner.

I had a really good experience of marsh and parsons, particularly Seren, when in the process of buying a property. I didn’t buy from them in the end but next time I sell I will certainly use this agency. Seren was knowledgeable during viewings, manages to maintain contact and follow up without being annoying, listens and balances professional and friendly perfectly. Would recommend.

Don't read Google reviews, but Trustpilot and you'll learn the truth about them: it's the worst estate agency!
For example, various neighbours have already contacted this joke of an estate agency to ask to remove the marketing sign. They couldn't care less. It's about taking the money and running away with it for them, nothing else!

Various neighbours have contacted them several times to remove their sign outside the property, which has been left there for months, but they don't seem to care. It affects the aesthetics of the street but Marsh & Parsons don't seem to understand it. Money grabbing is more imporant eh.

Never use this branch to rent a property or let them manage a property you own. I rented a flat for a few months in 2015 and still receive debt collection letters from various supplier for debt related to the property from time periods to which I've never lived there. Even 2 years after moving out, Marsh and Parsons themselves contacted me to confirm the release of my deposit as I hadn't paid rent!! They don't even know who's living in the properties they manage. I've spoken with the branch many times over the years to complain and have my details removed from their system but clearly this never happens. They probably don't even know what GDPR means.

I would like thank the team at Marsh and Parsons for there assistance in the sale of my house on St John’s Hill. After trying to and failing to sell the house with Savills I then instructed Charlie and his team. The team immediately increased the number of viewing and applicants through the door. The team provided regular feed back and where always on hand if i had any questions. The service was excellent and far out stripped that of our other agent. The team ended up finding two suitable buyers the first was not proceed-able for certain reasons, the second buyer was chain free and able to purchase the property in a timely manner paying cash on completion. Team secured a record price for the property and the road.

My partner and I had just one weekend to find a flat to rent, as he was living abroad (soon to be moving to London) and we were both very busy. March and Parsons found us a perfect flat - exactly what we were looking for, though at the very upper end of our budget - and made the settling in process pretty easy.
Since then they've been managing the property and have been extremely helpful and responsive to our minor complaints/issues (broken washing machine, leaking pipe). Every issue has been addressed quickly, with minimal fuss and no extra fees. They are also always polite and patient. I would definitely recommend them to a friend looking for a new home to rent.

Having struggled to sell our flat with another agent, Charlie managed our sale excellently. He was able to get good numbers through the door and very quickly we received an offer that we were very happy with.
Charlie S and James D went above and beyond - even fielding calls through the Christmas period.
I would definitely recommend Marsh & Parsons. You get access to a wide group of buyers from their various offices whilst maintaining that personal, independent feel.
Whilst they were a little more expensive, it was well worth it.
