Booked a viewing for a flat in Victoria Mills apartment. They've confirmed again the day before to make sure I coming. But never showed up on the day and completely ghosted me. I felt like an idiot for travelling all the way from Leeds and showing up 15 min early, taking the day off from work for the viewing. Worse part is I've never got a reason for cancelling it. May someone else let the property before my viewing, but I wasn't even informed as a courtesy at the least. Edit: Hi Gary thanks for your response. I am not sure what happened either. The intercom was a bit iffy because it was showing an error when I entered the flat number. I tried several times and gave up. I actually managed to sneak in when someone else come out of the door, but when I knocked on the flat door, there was no response. I have called your office twice but the response I got was that the person must have left already so would have to reschedule the appointment. Worse Experience Ever! Poor service recieved from this estate agent. Inconsiderate and heartless people. Were incredibly difficult to get hold of or get the service needed for example sending someone out to sort our gas and electricity out. We went on the whole weekend during winter time with the no hot water or gas. I was pregnant at the time and they didn't fulfill our needs. Not even the bare minimum.... Can These management people explain to me why the pics of damage in every room is called fair wear and tear by them ? I wait their excuses sorry explination . Also the damage down the walls . If the transaction is simple they are good enough to conclude But if it requires understanding and communication they are incapable In my case the property was at later stage found to have cracks and had insurance claims hence bank rejected the standard evaluation and demanded structural survey Structural survey was requested and half payment was agreed if Bank accepts the report - Martin and co agreed - but never got one Beware - especially first time buyers! Would not recommend anyone to use Martin co saltire as for 6 months we had to fight for holes in the roof to be repaired and damp to be resolved 3 different times they had to come out to fix radiators and just bodged them up and just left me with a damp and run down house and then at the end of all this they charge me for dehumidifiers they had took back and refused to admit this so I ended up having to pay out for them aswel as trying to charge for issues that was made up and cleaning the house even though I had provided proof of a cleaning company doing this just as I left and dps agreeing that the house was perfectly fine... These guys rent a house to a man that has stood and threatened to beat up a lady in her 40s that has had below the knee amputation on both legs due to sepsis , because he was screaming and threatening his girlfriend that much she knew, she had to go help the poor girl. 4 houses in a row, 3 bought, 1 rented, 1 has moved out and left house empty, 1 has house on market desperate to leave, and the poor disabled lady just dreams of it not happening. Took 7months to fix lights, Todays saga, our kitchen cupboards have fallen down, theyve sent someone to remove the cupboards but arent sending anyone to replace them until next tuesday, because they have a single contracter. They hang up on you, talk down to you and act like theyre doing you a favour letting you live there, despite the fact that you're paying £600+ rent per month. They are without a shadow of a doubt the worst estate agents ive ever been with. Additionally- in one of the previous responses to reviews, they said they always provide an inventory, we never got one,so i would query this.... Read more

Still waiting for deposit from this terrible firm ,am into another months wait for money towards a flat that was trashed by a tenant and I Should get the deposit to assist in repairs but not from this letting ? Agent who have no idea what properties they are managing who denied even letting it ! and have been terrible from day one ! Have reported them and sought advise as to where we go from here ! Will keep you all informed Latest DPS say that they will only deal with Martin's regards our getting the deposit back for a trashed flat which we should legally receive towards Martin's failure to look after our flat .Martin's say they that they will not deal with us as we were rude when they stated they didn't look after our flat ,even though they were wrong and rude ! So we have had taken from us £500 towards over a thousands pounds of damage even though this is illegal ! I will continue to keep you informed as this case progresses .thanks all... Read more

Martin & Co - Bradford. Absolutely total load of rubbish, The staff are anything but professional, communication skills are non existent. They lie through their back teeth, never call back, make you out to be liars. On going issues with the state of the property, never get the builders in to rectify problems and just make excuses. They treat you like a child and talk down to you, very condescending to say the least, Happy to take your money and talk nice until something goes wrong. Avoid at all costs and go to a professional Estate/letting agency. Feel free to listen to a recording Ive made from a phone conversation with someone called Denise then decide if you want to use them. Just ask.... Read more
