Oliver Jacques did a fantastic service selling my flat in Bow Quarter. For work I was based far from London and they went above and beyond to enable me to sell the flat - sorting out various issues that came up without me having to travel back. I started with another agent who was not able to get nearly as many viewings, so I switched to Oliver Jacques. They were on the ball and James was arranging viewings and always willing to help. When there was a delay related to the Lease, Rosalie problem solved and pushed things forward, finding solutions and working with us to get the sale over the line. Thanks to all at OJ.

I don’t usually write reviews, and it takes a lot to impress me—especially as an estate agent myself—but Oliver Jacques absolutely deserves five stars.
I chose them to sell my parents’ home because they’re a local, independent agency that really knows the area and what makes it special. From start to finish, they went above and beyond. Communication was fantastic—Michael, the Sales Manager, even called from his mobile in the evenings and over the weekend, which you just don’t get very often.
This sale wasn’t an easy one for me personally, but the whole team showed so much empathy and support throughout. Rosalie, the Sales Progressor, was great—super on the ball, always following up with solicitors and buyers to keep things moving. And a big thank you to Harry and Jack, the negotiators, who worked tirelessly to find the right buyer.
Honestly, well done team—you made a stressful situation as smooth and straightforward as it could possibly be.

I asked this company to sell my flat in April. An asking price was agreed. The viewing started soon after. But I felt that some of the viewers, had no interest in buying the flat. Why would you look at a property in New Cross, when you want to buy a flat near a river? Why you are looking at a 1 bedroom flat when you want a 2 Bedrrom flat? It appeared to me that some of these viewings were a waste of time. That's exactly what happened. After a few weeks, it was decided to reduce the price of the flat. A similar trend continued. I was told by the company that the market is saturated and that I should look into putting the flat back to renting. Why would I decide to sell it in the beginning if I wanted to put it on rent again? If an estate agent is asked to sell a property, they should carry on following the instructions. I then decided to sell it via a modern auction method. I was told by the company that if I want to sell I that way, I should look into accepting a lower price through them instead. I have now a notice to the company to take it off the market as the agreed period to sell it through them has expired. They are still continuing to show the property for sale. A really disappointing experience. A total waste of time.

After struggling for over two and a half years to sell my house, I was amazed to see it sold in just three months! Michael was incredibly responsive and eager to assist when I first reached out. He made sure to address all of my concerns right away. James went above and beyond—his commitment was outstanding. He tirelessly showed the property to numerous potential buyers, listed the house in impeccable condition, and crafted descriptions that truly showcased its potential. I'm sure anyone who has rented in London has some stories about letting agencies... But I can confidently say that OJs has been a dream to deal with. Smooth tenancy process, helpful staff, and during the tenancy if I ever had any issues they were always resolved quickly. Even issues that I would call "cosmetic" like paint repairs from water damage etc were always remedied. I have dealt with Erika and Gina throughout my tenancy and they've been great, a real asset to the company!

I'm in the process of getting an apartment and I got to know Josh Heard through the Oliver Jaques agency. The real estate market in London is crazy and finding the right apartment that matches your needs can be really difficult. In this sense Josh was absolutely fantastic, despite his numerous clients, he remembered me and my preferences regarding the type of apartment I was looking for (since I had already done a viewing with him). A few days ago he contacted me to tell me that a new identical apartment was available in the same building I was previously looking for. In a very short time he organised a viewing and as usual he was very honest and professional, always attentive to the client's needs. An absolute 5/5!
