Absolutely the worst estate agents I have ever used, absolutely terrible service. Zero updates from the branch. Put an offer in on a house a week ago had nothing back. Forced us to phone up countless times to be told they hadn’t contacted the seller yet. Was given zero opportunity to counter offer on the property before being told it had been taken off the market. Couldn’t be more disappointed with the service from Poole. Staff where complete oblivious to our offers and was constantly repeating ourself to them explaining the situation over and over again like no one in the office is speaking to each other. Terrible service and terrible company do not recommend them to anyone not even my worst enemy... Read more

submitted a tenancy application for a home in Barrow. The application asked whether I'd been subject to a Section 21 order. I thought it was an irrelevant question as it had no bearing on ones likelihood to be a good or a bad tenant; however, I answered the question honestly by stating 'no' because I'd only received a Section 21 notice. Only a court can issue an order. Poole Townsend then accused me of lying on the application and it was rejected. In the end, I should be thankful to Poole Townsend because my experience with them caused me to realise that a miserable, economically deprived, unfriendly and uneducated community wasn't the right place for me and that my talents would be better appreciated elsewhere. With estate agents like this it is no wonder Barrow has such a poor reputation.... Read more
