Porters as a letting agent acting on the behalf of our landlord have been understanding and supportive, they have been fair when challenges have arisen and fair with the rental increases (where they have applied) only increasing by inflation. As an office of people they are supportive and understanding to the tenants they manage on behalf of their clients, easy to talk to and always welcoming regardless of how sensative a challenge maybe. Friendly, responsive team with a personal touch - Sean and the rest of Porters are quick to pick up potential issues and advocate for residents, and they also really help build a sense of community among the tenants of Du Cane Court. (The prosecco scavenger hunt remains a personal favourite, but the lovely welcome box and the periodic parties to get to meet our neighbours and share news about the building and good conversations were appreciated too.) We used Porters for two rentals in a row and will endeavour to return to them in future!

From day one, the team at Porters were incredibly friendly, genuine, professional, and reliable. If you're looking for an estate agent you can truly trust, efficient, responsive and committed to your best interests, I can't recommend them highly enough. The level of care, detail and attention we received throughout the entire process, from the first viewing to signing was unlike anything I’ve experienced in London before. Porters were a pleasure to deal with. The benefits of this being a family company shone through with a caring and personal approach. Over the two years of our rental, we dealt with the same staff, deadlines were always kept, and when they said something would be done, it invariable was with courtesy and professionalism. The key difference between Porters and other agents was the staff. Dealing with them was like reconnecting with old friends rather than the usual random people and 'computer says no' interactions of other agencies. We have been leasing a flat through Porters for almost two years, and every step of the way we have been consistently impressed with their level of service and care.
I'm compelled to write this review as this week they have been supremely helpful: within 24 hours of notifying Lina our oven was broken she had organised for it to be fixed. And when Doug visited for a routine inspection the following day, he organised for two minor repairs to be fixed then and there.
I've never known an estate agent to be this on the ball. Sean and his team should be commended for treating tenants with respect and dignity – a quality often missing from other estate agents!

If renting, beware of unfair end-of-tenancy tactics with Sean and his team. They attempted to withhold a large portion of our deposit using dubious claims and fabricated actions. When we questioned these and asked for evidence, their reasoning quickly fell apart (watch out for their 'With no prejudice' replies as a way to cover their backs). While we managed to challenge and resolve the issue, others might not be so lucky. Proceed with caution and be prepared to scrutinise any claims closely.

This is a fraudulent company who's currently under investigation. Operating in some back wardrobe by Tooting...thieving from landlords, tenants, under investigation for financial fraud. They've been caught out by tenants and landlords for concerns over thieving money.Go to a legitimate company...theres a few out there. you must protect yourself..this company has family members supporting it, raising concerns over validity of others reviews. check out Seans 'office'.....ahem.....

Honestly the best management estate agent I've ever countered in London. I am very pleased with all the services I received.
The move in process went smoothly and they went the extra mile to accommodate my initial requests. I also received a card and a bottle of Prosecco to congratulate me on my new property; small details that makes you feel valued.
When I had a problem with the washing machine, it was promptly dealt with and if I had any concerne, they always responded quickly and efficiently.
I was so impressed (and thankful) with the help received during Covid and my move out was also really easy (and very sad indeed).
Their customer service is beyond excellent, you can see that they really care. By far the best agency I dealt with in my 11 years in London.

Exceptional service in every way. I live abroad and let my flat in Balham through Porters, both letting and management. I have full confidence in leaving everything to them, I rarely even have to think about the flat which is a big weight off my mind.
Letting my flat for the first time I was a bit hesitant that they weren't one of the bigger agents but it's actually so much better. The service is personal and they really care. The speed they deal with everything is amazing, the communication is so fast (I prefer email so that's what I get) and things just get done.
A few things have gone wrong with the flat and Porters get people on it straight away. I've heard stories of management companies who just call you if something goes wrong and you have to deal with it but not Porters. They get the right people to do the job at the right price, keeping me informed and giving me choices along the way.
Porters' fees are so reasonable and there are no hidden costs. If you are looking to rent out your place, especially if you are a novice landlord like me, I highly recommend you talk to Porters.
