The team at Putterills probably won’t realise that I am a fellow agent who runs Leysbrook in Letchworth, but I only have very positive things to say about the service I received from Putterills in Welwyn Garden City.
From the viewing, which was conducted very professionally, through to the constant support and updates from Abigail Rawling, the service has been excellent from start to finish.
My only small comment, and certainly not something that warrants losing a star, would be to reconsider charging buyers and sellers for AML checks ????

This is the 2nd home I have purchased with Putterills in the last few years. They are so easy to work with. Abigail is fab - attentive, professional and gets back to you asap and the sale was completed fairly smoothly despite issues with the lower chain. Conor is lovely and could sell ice to a polar bear - no pressure selling but engaging. I saw a few properties via Putterils and each time there was no pressure to lock up and leave. James was great with helping me navigate the start of the conveyancing process esp when technology kept failing me.
Overall throughly recommend buying with Putterills.

I telephoned the WGC branch to book a viewing and I did not receive very good customer service. Whoever is the manager of this branch needs to train their staff. First impressions are very important and this has lost them a potential house sale and at least £7000 of income.
You take name, phone, & home address. That should be enough personal data. You only need an email address in order to sign people up to marketing lists. it has nothing to do with "safety and security"
I was not "rude or agressive" to any member of your staff. I simply said I did not wish to give my email address.
I am pretty sure your vendor wouldn't be too pleased to be told they could have got an offer on their house, but Putterills chose to turn down a viewing.

We did unfortunately have 'quite poor' solicitors at either end of what should have been a simple sale and purchase (if I mention what we actually thought of them - this post would not be for public viewing).
However, the shining star throughout this process was Gary at Putterills. He was always at the end of the phone, responded to every email, replied to every message that was left at the office, on his return.
He certainly went above and beyond in his efforts to help us get this all finalised. Always polite and professional and simply could not have done any more.
I actually miss our daily updates!
