We cannot praise Knebworth Putterills enough. After deciding to downsize from our family home we invited three different Estate Agents around with the intention of the best one taking on the job.
Lucy from Putterills stood a head and shoulders above the rest, very knowledgable about the housing market, helpful, caring, approachable and also a lovely person.
From that moment it was a whirlwind. We had two viewing Saturdays. Jenny came the first Saturday and Chloe the second, they were both absolutely excellent in showing our home off to it’s best advantage. It was sold within the two weekends! Lucy and Vanessa also kept very closely in touch with us after the sale.
All in all a fantastic experience ????. We would not hesitate to recommend Putterill’s Knebworth to anyone wanting to sell their home.

We worked with a few agents to begin with, but found very quickly that they all were very poor with communication. We ended up with Putterills as the sole agent. The sale was protracted and proved difficult due to an involved chain, we found that we received better communication from the agents who we were buying our next property from. It seemed they were not bothered until we completed and they received their commission.

The best agency in the area. I cannot give any fault to Lucy Lord and Vanessa Collins, they are absolutely brilliant.
We bought our 1st property in north London a few years ago and we had very bad experience with neighbours which got sorted after a long wait but due to personal circumstances we still decided to sell it.
And we found Putterills to be absolutely exceptional, reliable and honest with an offer which got accepted.
Unfortunately again due to personal circumstances, we are going to relocate abroad to our home country and not sure if we return to the UK in the future but did not want to leave without thanking and mentioning how good this agency is, although we had to withdraw our offer.
I visited houses previously in the area with Alexander Bond Knebworth, Wellington Evans and what a difference is with Putterills.
Alexander Bond and Wellington Evans are using scam sales tactics, arrogant and rude attitudes whilst Putterills is straight forward.
I personally think is extremely rare to find good and honest dentists and estate agents but they are definitely a rare gem and the reviews they receive are very accurate. Thank you once again for all your effort

The marketing was really good and the photographer they use (Orange Tree Photography Ltd.) really presented our house beautifully. I was kept up to date at all times in terms of viewings and then in terms of the sale and chain once we had accepted an offer. I think I’ve spoken to every member of the team at the Knebworth office. My view is that Putterills is the best agency in the country.
A bit of an overstatement one may think, but having dealt with various agents in the last 10 years I can only reflect on negative experiences. However, Ricky and Lucy of Putterills made me change my mind on this. When you get an estate agency really working for your interest… you can tell.
I am not stating this for flattering. I am just stating this so as to bring back the humanity factor, which seem s to be missing from today's transactions.
You get agents trying to do their jobs.
Then you get agents trying to go the extra mile.
When Lucy texted me - while on her holiday with her husband - checking on if everything is ok with the transaction process - that was beyond belief. I literally had to apologise to her for taking her holiday time dealing with my conveyancing issues. Her response was remarkably humble.
Solution is the word. Putterils provide solutions - while other agents just try to get you on their books. This is the difference.
Lucy, Ricky and the rest of their fantastic team [Carrie, Abigail, Carly et al] all have been responsive, caring and most of all, human!!!
To cut a long story short, I wish that all of my future transactions would be through them, or through people of the same ethic.
One downside I can put out there is that they only work until 1700. I think they should be working 24/7!

We would highly recommend Putterills! They were the estate agent for the house we were buying, but they communicated far better than our estate agent, were always friendly and helpful, and gave so much advice to help us move this very slow and stressful house move on (which took far longer than it should have due to our estate agent and solicitors and buyers' situation). Abi who has now left started on this with us, and Lucy took over once Abi had left and the handover was seamless - Lucy was completely updated from the very start. Both were so kind and informative, and kept us updated nearly every day by phone and email - nothing was too much for them. We would urge anyone moving house to go with Putterills - if we ever move again we won't hesitate to go with them! Thank you so much for all your help and support throughout.

Putterills Knebworth sold Rory's parents' house, in Welwyn, twice, very quickly. So we had no hesitation in appointing them to sell our house in Codicote.
It took us over two years to find our next house and the Branch Manager, Lucy Lord, was very helpful with advice in our search for a new home.
In this two years Putterills managed to find suitable buyers several times and helped build chains. This put us in a strong position when bidding for a new home for ourselves several times. Putterills photographs, description and advertising were spot on.
Abigail and Sandra "progressed" our sale and maintained the interest of our chains very well, so that we were able to complete our purchase at very short notice, despite the fact that our buyer and their buyers needed to move quicker than our vendors. Abigail also found us an excellent local removal company when all the other companies were fully booked due to the goverment's temporary Stamp duty holiday.
So we do highly recommend Putterills Knebworth for an excellent and "above and beyond", very friendly and helpful service.

I had excellent service from the Knebworth Branch. Ricky and his team are outstanding, from Lucy's compassion, to Carly's limitless enthusiasm, to Abi's friendly efficiency. It took over 40 viewings to sell our house so it wasn't an easy sale but the team were always on hand for a calming word or some friendly advice on how we could improve our chances. The fact that they got over 40 people in during a pandemic is quite something in itself !
Us recommending you is a given and we are hoping that this is our last move but if we do go again we would have no hesitation in banging down your door.

Used in 2013 The most Professional estate agents in the area decent marketing, get viewings ,provide feedback. Fantastic photography and meet basic regulations such as placing the EPC for buyers to view on the listing of the property unlike some which is the case with my friends listing else where !!!!. Actually market the property properly and even helped arrange a table2 show the room in a better way. Take the actual time and care no snap snap instead doing a good sufficient amount of quality photos. After being on for a while else where it was sold in under a month at asking price. All the team dealt with at Knebworth were extremely professional keep up being a lead in the Local Market. High end and a pleasure to deal with !.
