What a wonderful experience my wife and I had buying our first home with Stirling Ackroyd. From the very beginning we had Alex showing us properties in the area and was very transparent and honest when showing us around. He was very quick to bring an absolute bargain to our attention which ultimately became our home. For anyone who knows the process of buying a home even if it’s not your first can always be frustrating with waiting on solicitors. However from the sales progression team there was Suzanna who was very proactive liaising with both buyer and seller solicitors to get the job done. I think ultimately it was Suzanna that gave our solicitors the push they needed to finish and for that a very special thank you to Suzanna for looking after us. I would 100% use Stirling Ackroyd again for when I buy and sell a property.

Extremely unprofessional service! I tried to view a room and they cancelled me at last minute like 2 hrs before. Happened to me before from this agent but, they gave me heads up like one day before so, I didn’t mind it. I don’t want this happen to me again so, confirm with them this morning for viewing but, now they are doing this to me aging. Absolutely absurd!

One of the worst and unprofessional agents. Dont work with them. Akash has no line management. His team Lilly reached out after the first viewing to help me promote her promotion case rather than work on securing the letting deal. After putting an offer, there was no call for four days and then I call back Mr Akash is all defensive and tells me that property is now already on offer but again not yet fully done. These guys will spin you.

Sterling Ackroyd's communication and care for prospective tenants is amazing. My partner and I were looking for our first flat with them and felt genuinely heard and valued the entire time. In particular, Luke Jones was a star, superbly helpful, warm, and not afraid to hear positive or negative feedback on properties. He also told us about the offer process, gave us some tips on submitting offers, and generally made us feel super comfortable as first time renters. I was told before moving into my property that it would be fully furnished however the estate agent hadn't actually checked this with the landlord, it had just been presumed, meaning that I moved in with my property missing furniture which I now have to pay for.. Don`t rent through them. Slow response to maintenance request is just one of their many failings. The room was dirty and there was mould on the walls, they didn`t even reply to my complaints regarding this. They are the worst agency in the area. Non-existent customer service and bad communication. Sleep under a bridge if you have to, but avoid them at any costs.

When I first met Rich, he made me feel at ease. He was very informative about the property I wanted to rent. Throughout the whole process Rich was patient and helpful when speaking with me. When I emailed, the response was quick and always polite.
The whole process was smooth and very quick, which was exactly what i needed.
