I have recently sold a property in the Hinckley area and used the services of Your Move as sales agents for first time.
I found Your Move to be an excellent choice - They did exactly what they said they would do and the property was sold within 3 months at over the asking price.
Darcey Taylor (Sales and Lettings Consultant) was assigned to this particular property from day 1.
She conducted herself in a very professional manner, demonstrating a tenacity to follow through on all enquiries and ensuring that all parties were kept well informed in a timely manner. She is a very pleasant and likeable person who made the process of selling a property seem less stressful than it often is.
She is a great asset to Your Move.

At no point have I expressed dissatisfaction with the valuation in my review, the issue was with the attitude. You’ve not addressed this at all and have bought up irrelevant, personal factors.
Would not recommend, the most patronised I’ve ever felt in my life.
Had a valuation today by Adam, in the past I’ve met a few estate agents at other agencies and had no problems with them however didn’t gel with Adam. I found him to have an attitude, he disagreed with everything I said / didn’t see my point of view and fairly rudely pointed that out, seemed to know better about everything talking about how he’s been in the business for 30 years and completely patronised me telling me what the nationwide index was in minute detail without asking if I knew what it was. Yes he may have been in a job a long time but from what I can tell he’s experienced in alienating potential customers, so doesn’t mean he’s good at it. I may be blonde and have pink in my house but I’m not stupid and didn’t appreciate being spoken to as if I was.

The Branch Manager Cate has been absolutely brilliant. She is not only professional but friendly, helpful, extremely knowledgeable and very very patient. She has gone the extra mile in assisting us with a mountain of paperwork work and emails. She has brought calm to our stressed situation.
We are now also bombarded with more paperwork and emails relating to the purchase of a new property. Once again Cate is there to guide us through the maze. We are so pleased we choose this estate agent.
Also we would like to praise Cate's staff who are very professional, friendly, knowledgeable and there to help you and always with a smile. They were all very polite, friendly and courteous when showing people around our home.
Last but not least we must thank Adam who was the first staff member we met when he came out to value our property. He was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and gave us advice on issues we had not thought about.

It's not very often that you can endorse a company's marketing slogan. But when Your Move's Hinckley Office say they are 'Genuinely Helpful Estate Agents' they 100% are. Over several years I have used them to purchase properties, sell properties and made extensive use of their Tenant Find service. All services have been delivered to the highest standards with successful outcomes on every occasion. The Tenant Find service has been especially brilliant with model tenants staying with me for years. No rent arrears and they all keep my properties immaculate.
All the services have been delivered professionally, at a reasonable price and with friendly and responsive staff.

It all started poorly, with the valuer's opening gambit being to thrust an example of a competitor's details into my hand before trashing its quality. That same agent, the object of the criticism, had sold my previous home so I was not impressed by the level of unprofessionalism displayed immediately we met. The valuer chose to chat at length about inane things, rather than do the job he was being engaged to do, presumably in an attempt to build rapport and win the business. He was in my home for at least 90 minutes, purely to tell me the valuation and take me through the procedure, which is self evident. It reminded me of a double glazing salesman thirty years ago who stayed in my home until 11pm until I signed up! Despite the red flags I offered YourMove the business the following day but it took a week for him to come back out, ostensibly to do photos, measurements and floorplans. Again, the valuer stayed an inordinate time but managed not to take a single measurement before dashing off to his next appointment. A week later and there was no sign of draft particulars so I rang to cancel. He rang me back, aggressively reminding me he had other properties to "market" (different from advertising!), to which I responded that only a single house had been advertised by YourMove in the previous week, and four in the previous fourteen days (stats from their own web-page). He even attributes attempted to attribute some responsibility to me as we apparently "got on so well". His tone became more aggressive as he said "Right, let's end this before......." The threat, if that is what it was, was not stated, but I assume it meant before he lost it totally. He did along the way say he had planned to come out that very afternoon to do measurements, but had made no such arrangement with me. At that point I determined to use another agent, however the office manager magically was able to produce particulars that same afternoon (using another agent's measurements and floorplans!) and her demeanour was very different, so I relented and gave YourMove the contract. To be clear, not only did YourMove plagiarise another agent's work (ironically the agent they had criticised) but there was never any sign of the 3D virtual tour they claim to provide on their website. Of course most agents will magnify their abilities to uniquely market your property, and this one undertook to review details etc in the unlikely event it was still unsold after four weeks. He compared mine with a similar property just 400 yards away, with a similar price tag, saying that mine was the more attractive because of the costly and attractive updating done by me. Seemed positive - but of course the outcome is markedly different. After SEVEN weeks we had just two viewings whereas the other property (different agent) was having two per week. Interestingly, the two viewings we had also saw that other property so clearly they should have appealed to a similar type of buyer. However, many potential buyers viewed the other property but not mine, and given their proximity and price that made little sense. Obviously this is something that could be raised at the four week review but guess what - still waiting for that review after seven weeks, so I withdrew the property from the market. This was not my only concern; communication was also very poor. On two occasions I expected calls to be returned but neither were. One potentially impacted on the timing of a viewing but that seemed not to matter and the viewer had not been contacted about the proposed change in time. The worst practice only came to light after I withdrew the property from the market. A couple turned up on my doorstep unannounced, hoping to view. They had rung YourMove two days before I chose to withdraw, and were expecting a viewing to be arranged. As they heard nothing they took the initiative and were disappointed when I told them it was not convenient. I emailed YourMove describing this incident and the anticipated responses could potentially range from abject apology down to a simple acknowledgement of their failure. True to form I did not get a reply of any sort, so am left to conclude this is not an exceptional event but typical of their practice. In summary, everything about YourMove in my own experience was grossly unprofessional, from the initial attack on competitors; through inefficient use of time (mine and theirs); through average at best photos which I had to supplement with my own; through to the management of viewings. People who manage to sell will, I'm sure, provide a more positive assessment, but the true test of an agent's skill and knowledge is their response to an apparent lack of interest.

It's been over 1 month since our tenancy agreement ended and still not received our deposit.
Did not offer any true updates throughout, we have been told a few times that a refund has been processed but it hadn't, your staff where lying to me on the phone just to get rid of me.
Called the landlord, he said you only contacted him in regards to our deposit last Friday, nearly a month after our tenancy ended.
I thought a deposit was meant to be refunded within 10 days after the tenancy ended.

However the service on leaving the rental property and trying to get the deposit paid back has been unacceptable, even though the inventory was all satisfactory!
No one responded to emails no one wanted to help in the matter, just change the days to suit the incompetence

I have been dealing with Your Move Hinckley for several years now and have bought investment properties, sold properties through them and used their tenant find service. They have invariably delivered an excellent service in all areas. Efficient, friendly, helpful and have always achieved the right result.
But last week the team surpassed their own high standards. After 5 years one of my tenants served notice. I asked Your Move to find me a new tenant. Within 2 working days they had visited the property, taken photos and put the house on the rental market. The following day they had organised four viewings and the next morning had three applications from suitable candidates. That's what I call service. Great rounding team from the initial valuation, amazing photographer and the team in the office. Only really one area of improvement is the timing of updates; a few times we received a call from the team with an update we have already heard from the solicitor or other third party.
Apart from that the entire team are fantastic, Zoe and Chloe went above an beyond for us and we couldn’t have achieved our sale and purchase without them.

What we thought would be a quick process of buying an already empty bungalow turned into 4 months due to lockdown and our own buyers mortgage lender taking quite a while to process their mortgage. I have been dealing with Your Move Hinckley several times now for almost a year. In the main I deal with Elisha in sales who is very friendly and extremely helpful. I have also dealt with various members in the team, again, equally friendly and helpful. What I like most about Your Move is their professional approach and that they do what they say they will do. If I request a call back I get a call back. If I want a particular viewing slot they go out of their way to accomodate that whenever possible. They work hard to accomodate viewings that suit both vendor and buyer. Their viewing schedule is very easy but thorough and reminders before as well as follow up feedback are sent promptly. Problems of poor communication all the way through. At the beginning when the property wasn't being listed and they couldn't explain why, I asked if they were liars or incompetent. I concluded incompetent and misleading. Left property unsecured (ie unlocked) after one viewing, didn't ensure staff taking viewings had upto date knowledge of the situation, advised sale of property completed when only exchanged, sadly the list goes on. I rented a property through Your move Hinckley, Cate found a tenant which caused me nothing but trouble. Your Move Hinckley do brilliant adverts on right-move in terms of enhanced images but i feel you should get more than just this from a fully Managed property.
The property was fully furnished but they moved in and demanded i should remove specific pieces of furniture which they did not like whilst having already moved in, all your-move helped me with was carrying an item down the stairs which Adam has kept referring back to.
Luckily i moved to a different agent in the end and found a new tenant at a far more realistic figure for a property rented complete with Quality Appliances New appliances. However sadly your-move Hinckley let the tenant do what they liked, the inspections were extremely poor, The Inventory was very poor which meant its pretty worthless I was refunded for the inventory which must tell you something really.
I tried to leave the agent peacefully but Adam & Cate have just been swearing and shouting because i've chosen a different agent who have achieved a 10% increased figure than Your Move and they have given me a choice of two tenants out of three viewings so i'm so pleased now.
I felt forced to leave this review. Also Adam broke the GDPR as he called me off his mobile which is illegal activity.

We recently moved into a property that Your-Move were selling. There was a few challenges with the chain and some of the solicitors used within that chain, our house had already sold and we agreed to complete to help out our buyer avoid a very large early repayment charge on an existing mortgage. Other than myself and Charlie at Your-Move, I don't think anyone else was interested in making this happen. I was calling my solicitor daily towards the end, but I could not talk to the entire chain. Charlie was pushing the whole chain and kept me updated. In the end we actually managed to do a direct move on the same day. Without Charlie's help, I'd be writing this review from a rented property.

Buying a house through Your Move has been very easy and the staff are especially helpful if you ring up with a question - especially Charlie who dealt with us through the majority of the purchase. Sometimes they need a little chasing to get back to you on questions but when they do get back to you the information they provide is clear and helpful.

Having just completed on another sale I cannot praise Your Move Hinckley enough! Adam, Cate and the whole team are absolutely brilliant. They are highly professional, very friendly and always available when you need to speak to them. They are also excellent negotiators/mediators when the sale gets a bit challenging, and very skilled at keeping the sale going through to completion. I actually decided to use them for my last sale, even though they were miles away from the house itself. Luckily for me they agreed! I think you get what you pay for with an estate agent, and Your Move Hinckley are definitely worth paying for. They are the best agents I've dealt with so far. Huge thanks to the whole team for a smooth sale!

I've been using Your Move to manage the letting of my flat in Hinckley for many years. I have been very pleased with the level of service provided and they have always been very efficient when finding a new tenant. I would like to give particular mention and thanks to Cate and Jenna - they have provided invaluable assistance recently by helping me deal with the transition of a slightly 'tricky" tenant, and a number of maintenance issues with the flat, which would have been impossible for me to manage remotely given the distance that I live from the property.

Terrible agency. Despite having to pay 120 GBP for every contract renewal, when my tenancy terminanted, I didn’t receive any support for the restitution of the deposit. I am foreigner and I was not aware about the full process, when I went there for advises on how getting the deposit back they didn’t tell me anything helpful. They lost my initial inventory and they stopped to reply to my e-mails. I could feel that they were racists.

Outstanding Service!! Although we didn't buy with your move, my viewing was arranged by Charlie straight away, she took all my details on what i was looking for and I even seen Jordan about my mortgage. Really helpful and friendly staff, 5* service!! i would definitely recommend, and will be my choice of agent in the future.

I have just purchased my third investment property through Your Move in Hinckley and use them as Letting Agents for all three properties. They've been first class. They have secured me excellent tenants in very short timescales. I don't see them as a supplier - I see them as a Trusted Advisor, and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Apart from Luke the rest of the reps are rude, arrogant and Condescending specially the manager! I have left feedback on their website but they don't publish it. I won't do any business with them in the future.
