BEWARE - This is a scam agency. They take deposit money from people showing fake properties and you will never see the money again. I was the guarantor for my family friends who were messed around for the last 2 weeks with the promise of handing over the key. This never happened and they refuse to return the refund. I was initially dealing with Bhavna then passed on to Justin who laughed at me and said my name is not on the Guarantor form so he cant talk to me, so no refund.
DO NOT MAKE ANY PAYMENT TO THIS ESTATE AGENCY
We will be escalating this further and do what ever it takes to bring down fake estate agents like Belvoir Leicester.

Update November 2025
We raised a complaint with TPO who set the rules and guidelines for estate agents in UK, explained our situation on an email with all the evidence. We received decision from TPO on the 28th of November advising Belvoir estate agents to refund our money minus reference fees. We have our money back now.

Dawn was fantastic in handling our case. She was helpful and flexible. Her hard work helped speed up the moving process by a week, which was crucial for us given our circumstances. Was a pleasure to work with. Moving out was dead smooth too. Highly recommend!

I was not a tenant or landlord but had the misfortune to have dealings with their property sales people. Despite multiple attempts to get them to pay me a couple of hundred pounds that they owed me they did not respond, that despite visiting the office on a number of occasions and also emails and phone calls. Highly unprofessional I would not recommend dealing with Belvoir Aberdeen.

We have nothing but good things to say about Belvoir, they looked after us very well and always kept us up to date with the proceedings of us buying our first house. Alison is the person who looked after our purchase and was very friendly and answered any silly questions we had as first time buyers. Thank you very much everyone at Belvoir especially Alison!!

Belvoir don’t seem to be flexible in terms of their viewing windows in my opinion. From my experience today, they expect potential buyers to work around them . I requested a viewing at a flat on Lowgate, to basically be told their that their property agent didn’t want the hassle of accommodating me. The manager then proceeded to tell me that they had lots of other viewings at the property, almost insinuating that they can afford to pick and choose bits of business here and there. As a vendor, I definitely wouldn’t be happy with this company!s sales approach. Especially given that I confirmed that I would be in a position to purchase immediately with no chain involved!

No show to a viewing. I emailed them to complain about it and was ignored.
Edit to the Belvoir response:
I’m honoured to have finally be graced with a response. Of course you can’t see any cancelled viewings as my no-show viewing was in MAY 2024. I did email you sometime afterwards and never received any response either. You can keep assuring everyone that this never happened, however, another person who also turned up for the viewing was also never contacted. We both called you on 2 different numbers, we both received an automated reminder and the other viewer even called you the morning of the viewing and was told it was happening. She traveled some distance just for that viewing! I think I gave you more than enough opportunities to sort it out and you replying at the end of this year is now pointless and clearly serves to present yourselves in a good light before you ignore or upset more people in the new year. So no, I won’t be contacting you as I have enough to do before Christmas. I’m only relieved I didn’t rent anything through your agency.
