The team at the Bishopston branch were brilliant and made the very stressful experience of buying a house on my own, as easy as it could be.
I can't thank Emily Davies enough. From the first viewing to the moment I completed, she advised me, answered my many, many questions, reassured me and advocated on my behalf.
I'm hugely grateful to her and Karly Hurcombe (who was relentless in her determination to get us to the exchange and completion stage!) and would recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a house

C J Hole helped me with both the letting of my property over several tenancies, and then with the sale of the property earlier this year. From the valuation through to the completion of the sale and purchase CJ Hole were amazing. We were kept informed all through the process and everyone was efficient effective and approachable. Avoid! CJ Hole have handled my tenancy deposit extremely poorly. After my tenancy ended, only part of my deposit was returned, and I was then told the remaining balance had been withheld because the new tenants had underpaid their own deposit. This is completely unacceptable and should never have involved my money.
Communication has been slow, unclear, and I have had to repeatedly chase for updates with no proper resolution seven months later. I have also discovered issues with the deposit protection records still showing previous tenants’ names long after the tenancy ended, which is very concerning.
Overall, a stressful and frustrating experience dealing with something that should have been simple and straightforward. I would not recommend based on how my deposit has been handled.

Very happy with the service we received from CJ Hole Hucclecote in the sale of our house.
From the initial advice about preparing the property for marketing, through the numerous accompanied viewings they arranged, to securing a satisfactory offer and ultimately a sale they kept us informed throughout.
Its a conscientious ‘go the extra mile’ service you get from what is a family run business. They are approachable, always return calls, and importantly their commission is very competative.
I have no hesitation in recommmending CJ Hole, Hucclecote.

Such a great team of people. They went over and above to help me. The photography is excellent (thank you Kevin) and communication, from Bonnie especially, was second to none. Justin managed the viewings and offers we had really well. We didn't sell our property in the end (no fault of the estate agents) but wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. We will be coming back when we want to sell again!

Exceptionally poor communication throughout.
Complaints process a sham.
High staff turn over with no real single point of contact or person showing your property so a complete lack of consistency.
