Outstanding service from start to finish, from Matins & co / Ellies and our landlady have been incredibly prompt, helpful, and considerate throughout my time here. Communication is seamless, and any issues are always resolved quickly. Easily the best experience I’ve had with a agency and landlady.

We rented a flat with Martin & Co in Farnborough and honestly it was a very smooth and great experience.<br>I don't usually write a review but they truly deserve the recognition. The team was professional, helpful, fair and genuinely decent throughout the whole process. We never felt pressured or that things were simply about money, which is unfortunately not always the case with other letting agencies.<br><br>If we moved back to Farnboroug one day , we'll definitely rent through them, we can't recommend them enough.<br><br>A special thank you to the property manager Gemma Flurry ,who was always there helping and sorting out any issue. Her professionalism and kindness made a real difference.

Some of the property management agents at Martin & Co are polite and respectful. They respond quickly and answer questions promptly. I would like to give my thanks to Emily.<br><br>I had a difficult experience when I was locked into my apartment on a particularly hot day, called the emergency line and then had to call a locksmith. No one answered the emergency line after sending a text and leaving voicemails. They didn’t even believe the lock had an issue until their locksmith came. I was left with a bill of £180 and was promised my the agent that I would be refunded. This never happened. Worst experience ever.

During our rental period (18 yrs); from begining to end, ALL the staff at the Ayr office provided an excellent professional and friendly service. No request no matter how small was too hard or difficult for them to deal with. They were prompt and efficient and ALWAYS returned our phone calls and addressed any questions or concerns we had quickly.
They also supported us through the sale of our property in the same manner making the whole process smooth and stress free

Extremely disappointing experience from start to finish. It took almost four months for us to receive our deposit back, during which time we were repeatedly pressured to accept almost £400 in proposed deductions.<br><br>We disputed the charges and ultimately took the matter to independent adjudication, which rules in our favour. This was particularly frustrating given that the issues had been reported during our tenancy and necessary maintenance was not carried out in a timely manner.<br><br>This was unfortunately part of a wider pattern of poor property management. At one point during the tenancy, we were left without gas, meaning we had no hot water or cooking facilities, for months while the landlord and boiler company disputed payment.<br><br>Overall, we felt that the focus was on passing maintenance costs onto the tenants rather than properly addressing issues during the tenancy. The fact that independent adjudication ultimately found in our favour was very telling.
