After moving into a flat on Russell street managed by Parker’s, rats kept me awake at night in the loft ( which I didn’t have access to) Even though I had just moved in, Parker’s insisted that ‘pest control is the tenants responsibility’, I had to get the council involved who ordered them to sort it. Then after 2 months- they put scaffolding up and I’ve had very loud building work 7.30am-6pm- 5 days a week and Saturday mornings- and often they work outside those hours too. During these times- I can’t open the windows for the dust and falling debris, and have had to paper them up for privacy. They’re fixing the whole roof and facade so I literally can’t get away from it anywhere in my flat, and I can hear everything- drilling, hammering, talking, the radio, and I see their shadows on the windows. I work from home ( which they knew when I moved in ) and it’s been extremely stressful and had a huge impact on my work. Since the roof has been left open, I now hear the rats & pigeons at night too. They said it would be ‘approximately 4 weeks’, it’s now been over 2 months and counting. They also had to fix all the electrics inside and fix the bathroom leak- it’s just been people coming and going, and I haven’t felt I can relax, sleep or concentrate on my work. The council have said I can get the environmental health team involved but I’m just exhausted- I’ve only been here 5 months and have now had to move all over again. They offered me a very small discount from my rent after I insisted. This has been the worst place I’ve ever lived.

We recently viewed and rented a house with Parkers through Agent Jodee. Jodee has been excellent throughout the process from viewing, settling the contact with the landlord through to moving in day and any minor issues around that. Jodee is an excellent communicator and responds straight away to any questions we have. I would not hesitate to use Parkers and Jodee again.

I have been looking at booking viewings for a couple of houses with Parkers, however they have not responded to multiple enquiries. We had 1 call back from them where they were blunt, uninterested and impatient and didn't attempt to help us book any viewings for the properties we were looking at or any that might suit our needs.

From a very good initial viewing with Liz the rest of my house purchase has been handled superbly by Jayson. Really friendly and professional team, When the time comes I wouldn't hesitate to choose Parkers again.

We sold our house through Parkers, we had a really positive experience start to finish. The whole process was smooth and well-managed, and we felt supported throughout.
A special mention has to go to Emma, who was absolutely fantastic. She kept everything moving by consistently chasing where needed and made sure we were always kept up to date. Her communication was excellent, and it really made a difference during what can often be a stressful time.
Would highly recommend.
