Paul Carr estate agents were very professional, But I have to say that my sales progreser grace cotterill was amazing she kept me up to date every step of the way, she rang me when she said she would, she answered all my questions and gave me advise, I honestly couldn't have done it without her. I agreed a purchase on 5 Whitburn Avenue which was marketed and confirmed in the memorandum of sale as freehold. After instructing solicitors and incurring costs and a level 2 survey, it later emerged during conveyancing that the property was subject to a short lease of around 12 years, fundamentally affecting value and mortgageability.
I withdrew immediately once this came to light. Despite requesting written confirmation that the sale was no longer proceeding, my emails were not responded to.
This experience caused unnecessary stress and wasted legal costs. Buyers should independently verify tenure before proceeding.

Visited this branch as we’re hoping to relocate to the area this summer and I wanted to see what we could get for our budget. The whole team were very helpful and enthusiastic, especially the branch manager who you could tell had a wealth of experience, and really made me feel more comfortable. This is a big move for my family and we’re looking forward to viewing properties with Ian and the team soon.
