Strange one, we had to leave our tenancy due the the owner selling up, during our 10 years at the address, the owner changed letting agent, about 5 years ago, we thought the new agent would automatically have the deposit move with them, it did not, Naomi Goodwin from romans' worked through the electronic and paper trail and sorted the issues quickly. thank you

We bought our house with Romans in Fleet in July 2025, after almost two years of searching and working with several agencies in different areas. Once we decided to focus on Fleet, Romans truly stood out.
Special thanks to Charlie and Matthew, who were outstanding throughout the process. Communication was fast and proactive, and their support during negotiations was excellent. Thanks to their efforts, we achieved a very good price reduction, which played a key role in making the purchase happen. They were also very helpful in arranging multiple viewings to suit our needs.
The only area that could be improved is the move manager role. Unfortunately, this part of the process was more stressful than helpful. Communication around completion and moving day (keys, meeting point, and next steps) was unclear and came very late, which caused unnecessary confusion. At such a critical stage, clearer guidance and better coordination would make a big difference.
That said, the Romans Fleet team stepped in to resolve the issues, and overall it was a genuinely positive experience. They helped facilitate the process for both buyer and seller, avoided unnecessary obstacles, and handled negotiations in a friendly, positive, and professional way.
After some very poor experiences with other agencies in Fleet, I can confidently say that Romans Fleet is one of the best agencies in the area, and I would happily recommend them.

I understand the property market is extremely congested at the moment, but my experience with this agency went beyond what can reasonably be explained by high demand.
There was a clear lack of transparency throughout the process. Communication was poor, information about the property’s status was unclear, and I was never given a fair opportunity to view the property. No clear explanation was provided as to why viewings were handled the way they were.
While competition is expected, basic professionalism, ethical conduct, and open communication should still apply.
Unfortunately, this experience felt neither transparent nor equitable, and it has left me questioning the agency’s standards.
I hope the agency reflects on this feedback and improves how prospective clients are treated going forward.

A genuinely customer orientated service from Romans Basingstoke. I’ve used them for years as letting agents and more recently for sales. While trying to buy our first home we have dealt with some horrible estate agents but we couldn’t be happier that we ended up buying our first home from Romans in Woodley. Robbie is one of the kindest estate agents we have dealt with and is a credit to the team. We couldn’t recommend the woodley branch enough. We wouldn’t hesitate to use Romans when the times come to move on to our next property ??????
