From the moment we viewed the property, everything moved incredibly quickly, we had our offer accepted in principle just two days later, and all checks were completed within a week. We went from viewing to moving in within a month! Any small issues with the property were resolved swiftly, often the same day or within 24 hours. The whole team is friendly, professional, and genuinely personable. A special thank you to Jonathan and the lovely, lovely Bethan, you both made the process so smooth and welcoming. 7th Oct 2025 (23 weeks ago)The property was previously on the market with a different estate agent but no offers were received. After switching to Herbert R Thomas, recommended by get agent, there were a number of viewings on the property and an offer made and accepted. Wish we had used get agent sooner as after switching it was sold within 6 weeks after being listed previously for over 15 months.
2nd Aug 2025 (7 mo. ago)I had been with a different Estate Agent and had little interest, I changed to MGY and the team did a brilliant job. Photos and description were better, advertised wider, many more viewings and a successful purchaser. They’ve gone above and beyond.

8th Oct 2025 (23 weeks ago)Unfortunately, for us Jeffrey Ross have not lived up to their reputation and the service which we expected. Whilst the staff have been friendly and overall communication has been pretty good, initially it was very difficult to make contact. Whilst we have been able to get an offer accepted on the house, there was very little interest/viewings which we think may have been due to the zero other promotion of our house other than listing it on their website and the usual right move etc, and even then the house description was incredibly limited and poor, and weeks later we are still waiting for a sign.
20th Sep 2021 (4 years ago)It is a small business but with top quality service, no doubt. They don't have many listed properties but each of them are with reasonable price. Sally and David were extremely helpful finding us a brilliant landlord. Maintenances are always in time, communications are smooth. I got all my deposit back and did had a great living experience with Simpson Estates.

She was caring, sympathetic to our needs, and genuinely invested in helping us every step of the way. She did everything within her control to get our offer accepted and to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible. Communication was excellent throughout. Charlene was always available, incredibly responsive, and proactive in keeping things moving. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and her professionalism was matched by a very human, thoughtful approach. 1st Aug 2025 (7 mo. ago)So far the team at Hern and Crabtree have been excellent. Always ready to answer my questions and reassure me. The house sold quickly with three interested buyers which meant it sold for more than expected. Hopefully all will proceed smoothly but even if it doesn’t I trust the Hern and Crabtree team will be there to support the sale to completion.

It was a long drawn out process, however, David met me in person, kept in touch through email, letter and phone calls during business hours and sometimes after hours but always got back to me. He was professional, courteous, hard working and went over and above in his efforts to secure our successful payment.
