6th Mar 2026 (12 days ago)We sold our house through Fine & Country. Liz Teasdale and Nicola Lorraine held our hands every step of the way. They promptly answered any queries we had, were reassuring when the process was at its most pedantic and calmed us down when we were stressed. From the superb photos taken at the start, all the way through the whole process Nicola and Liz were professional and attentive and we cannot recommend them highly enough. They might be slightly more expensive than other Estate Agents but they were worth every penny. So glad we used Liz and Nicola.

16th Feb 2026 (30 days ago)I had a good experience, the agent, Quentin Lee was very patient and made sure I get what I wanted. Just a small issue with the referencing, as the referencing is done from an external company so they don’t really have a hand in this. But otherwise I’m satisfied.

On the last viewing told us we had secured it in the Saturday only to be told on the Tuesday that there was a higher bid. We have been brought in as a bidding baite in this property. Avoid this agent! No office to even call in

Even so, we were completely blown away by the high standard of service, support and advice we received throughout the process of selling our home. The current system for buying & selling homes in the UK is out dated and simply put it increases the stress and worry for sellers and buyers alike. Round & Jackson are a local, independent team who really understand this, they are passionate and dedicated to provide support throughout the process and actively strive to reduce stress and worries. Putting our property on the market was sleek, we were invited to input and were given constructive advice on every aspect. When receiving our draft details, we were delighted to see that the marketing not only gave an accurate representation of our property but also, they were written and presented uniquely to our property. Viewings were carried out with the upmost professionalism with the whole team committed to ensure that potential buyers could view at their convenience with timely feedback sought after every viewing. We have sold our property at a time when the property market is incredibly busy, however Round & Jackson were still able to ensure that the sale went through as timely as possible, having a clear handle at all times on exactly what stage in the process we were at and that we were kept updated. No query or question was ever too much trouble for them to answer and they were incredibly approachable and proactive in ensuring that the process was as straightforward as it could be for both us and the buyers of our property. On their website, Round & Jackson introduce themselves as offering a “modern approach with honest and traditional values and we aim to provide the highest level of service to sellers and buyers” our experience is that they absolutely achieve this and more. When you have been through the selling process you completely understand the importance of this, without doubt we would return to Round & Jackson in the future. Your experience as a seller gives good insight into the conduct and ethics of an Estate Agent and if buying, unquestionably a property marketed by Round & Jackson would give us complete confidence as a buyer. At the start of the process, it is easy to underestimate the importance and value of using an excellent agent. There is so much to say about this amazing team, so many small and big things that they do to proactively support the process, their expertise and professionalism are exceptional and we would highly recommend anyone selling or buying to contact Round & Jackson
7th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)This is my 3rd purchase of a new build and by far the most appalling quality of any developer I have experienced. The sales team were great and could not had been more helpful. The site managers were also very helpful and pleasant. However this does not make up for the extremely shoddy build quality. There is one adult and one child living in a 4 bed house, so less than designed for use of the property. During the 6 months we have lived here, we have experienced the following: kitchen cupboard doors have fallen off at least once a month. This is allegedly a kitchen “upgrade” yet the wood is broken inside where the hinges are fitted. The same residents have resided in several other houses without incident. There was no pipe-work fitted at all to the dishwasher - someone had removed it causing a large leak when moving in. The plumbing under the sink was the incorrect size pipework causing a leak and a strong smell. The thermostat was broken within 2 weeks of use. The toilet leaks causing damage to the ceiling below. The kitchen Amtico flooring is lifting. The carpet has worn away completely at the door strip. The ‘chrome’ work is in fact plastic, with no warranty unlike the other developers we have bought from, and is apparently meant to be cleaned after every use using no cleaning products - bear in mind this is a hard water high limescale area. As this is not normal anticipated use for any human, it is now damaged. The gate was broken. The patio slabs came up when you stood on them. There are holes in the door frame where unnecessary screws were left in. The spotlight surrounds were installed broken and held on with paint to act as a glue, which invariably fell off. When told I would not be selecting the golden ‘yes’ box for “would I purchase from Bloor again”, one of the directors turned up unannounced at the door to get me to change my mind. Perhaps if they concentrated their time on building better houses, then they wouldn't need to employ bullying tactics to encourage you to give a dishonest response. There were 2 shelves missing in the oven, another item which had been taken out from the “last house left”, a tactic admitted by a site manager that they would take things out to meet other customers needs, but because I didnt notify them initially being as I didnt know they were meant to be there, then they wouldn’t supply any. There were of course many more snags, which we do expect but this is above and beyond. Customer care make poor excuses. They are now building phase 4 - strongly recommend purchasing a property elsewhere in Banbury and not from Bloor.

They went above and beyond for me, I lived a 2 hour drive away and they were amazing, being there for lots of little things to save me a trip north I would 100% recommend them
3rd Mar 2020 (6 years ago)I was really pleased with the level of service I received from Chris. We initially had our property on with another agency in Banbury, and we didn't feel as though it was being pushed properly. We would get a different agent at every viewing, so they were never really able to get to know the quirks and selling points our property and the activity level was pretty low. After a few months we switched to F&C. Although it was more expensive, we chose Chris firstly because of his level of understanding of our type of home and the local area. Also, we were impressed with how proactive he was, even before we signed up. Not long into partnering, we were getting viewings left, right and centre. Chris managed to sell our house quickly and we were out of there within three weeks of accepting an offer! Very happy and would recommend!

After a disastrous start with another estate agent which almost lost me the house I really wanted to buy, I instructed Century 21 and Jason pulled everything together. Jason got my property sold very quickly in an urgent situation working late into the night to get my property listed and negotiated my purchase so that everything was held together, despite various difficulties along the way, and I got my dream home. He is extremely proactive and responds quickly to messages seven days a week and outside normal working hours. I cannot thank him enough for his hard work, and dedication in getting my sale and purchase over the line. He is truly passionate about his work and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
