Searching for a new home is even more stressful…<br><br>Last year, while searching for a new home in the Cotswolds, we had the good fortune to meet Tanya Hall from Carter Jonas Oxford. As well as having an incredible ability to showcase special properties, she is a master in the art of matchmaking tenants to landlords. She innately understands that for certain properties it is all about the relationship rather than simply getting a “deal” done.<br><br>Tanya was remarkably thoughtful and adept at helping us get to know our landlord and her team during the vetting phase. She was clear, transparent and always available to guide us through the process. At every point of the negotiation we felt heard and understood by Tanya.<br><br>Now almost a year into our tenancy, we could not be happier with our decision and as a distinct bonus, our landlords have become dear friends.<br><br>We could not be more thrilled with Tanya’s level of service. We would recommend her highly to anyone looking for a new dream home in the Cotswolds.

They were proactive and gave weekly updates during the sale process. Special thanks to Steven who did weekly property checks to comply with The Unoccupied House Insurance and finally to do the meter readings on our behalve.<br>Congratulations to a very efficient and motivated team!
13th Oct 2026 (14 days ago)I recently purchased a property through Savills Henley and wanted to leave a review from a buyer’s perspective, as most reviews tend to come from sellers.<br><br>The purchase was particularly complex, but the team at Savills Henley were extremely professional, helpful and communicative throughout the process.<br><br>A particular thank you to Charles, who was excellent to deal with, very personable and played a critical role in helping the purchase progress smoothly despite the challenges involved.<br><br>Overall, a great experience with a professional and approachable team. I would certainly look forward to doing more business with Savills Henley in the future.<br><br>Highly recommended!

Ben Baker was excellent from first meeting through to eventual Completion - polite, reliable and efficient, as also were Ceri and his support team. Moving after 34 years was always going to be challenging, but Hamptons made the whole process much easier for us. We are glad we chose them.

Connells were amazing throughout seemed to be the only party at times to have my best interest. Charlie in particular was amazing reaching out and offering tons of support, especially when a buyer pulled out (again no fault of Connells) the had a new buyer within a week. 14th Oct 2026 (13 days ago)Buyers perspective: we were constantly told that estate agents during the buying process are something to be cautious about, but Thomas Merrifield were incredible. We bought a house through them a couple of months ago, they made our journey so easier and were the least stressful part of the whole process. As a first time buyer, they spoke me through all my concerns and helped navigate solicitors and surveyors etc. George in particular was fantastic - we still speak about how great they were. If we were selling, this is the only place we would consider to sell through.

7th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)After minimal success with our first Agent in selling our house, we chose to move to 'James Gesner Estate agents' due to their knowledge of Wallingford and the surrounding area and specifically one area. Having the team represent our sale, and then to find us a property in the area we were looking to move, I would comment that James and the team were exceptional. The data (marketing report) that they provide against the sales element was informative, the viewings that they conducted, were very professional and the correspondence was always relevant, and always available. James is very knowledgeable where it matters and worked tirelessly in supporting both the house sale and purchase, and I felt that he really went above and beyond in providing a great service and doesn't seem to switch off by providing updates whilst in Mexico. After meeting with several estate agents, it was clear that Luke was the right person to handle our sale. He quickly understood the property, set out a clear strategy, and impressed us with his honesty, flexibility, and ambition.<br><br>Communication was excellent throughout, with Luke always available to answer questions and offer guidance. Tiffany was also a pleasure to work with, helping with viewings and queries, while Mark provided great support whenever Luke was away.<br><br>We accepted an offer within days, and despite a few inevitable hurdles before completion, the process was smooth overall thanks to Luke and the team. We would have no hesitation in recommending Thomas Merrifield to anyone looking to move in the area.

After making an offer that was accepted, Matt was instrumental in liaising with the property owner for access to the property before completion in order to complete renovation works. He communicated well, responded to requests in a timely manner and nothing was too much trouble. And he answered his phone when I rang. We moved in on July 29th and couldn't have done it without his help.<br><br>I would have no hesitation in recommending Matt and Knight Frank in Henley if you're buying or selling property in this area.
