2nd Mar 2026 (16 days ago)We used Williams & Donovan for the sale and purchase of our new home from June 2025 to when we completed in February 2026. The whole team were great from start to finish, the valuation and photos for the sale of our property with Lloyd, to our viewings organised and managed by Anita, Darren and Denise and a special mention to Stephanie who was a great help with our sale progression. She kept us up to date where needed and gave us regular reassurance due to unforseen circumstances in the chain. Stephanie was very responsive, always polite and helpful and in regular contact with us throughout, a great support! Thank you to you all, we would recommend Williams & Donovan.

19th Feb 2026 (27 days ago)My husband and I bought a house through Charles David Casson a couple years back and they were the worst part of the process. Their communication was poor from start to finish. They recommended the worst solicitors, DO NOT go for the solicitor they recommend. They failed to adequately arrange viewings and made the process HELL. At several points I had to request their manager to intervene, who was equally useless. If you enjoy stress and headache, you can go for them. If the seller had not been so lovely and accommodating, we would not have got this sale over the line. We literally did all the work whilst they twiddled their thumbs and wasted our time. After the sale went through, they’ve been harassing me periodically to give a valuation of the house- in case I want to sell. Haunting me even to this day.

Zoe, the manager, was extremely professional and helpful throughout, making the whole process smooth and well?organised. Alfie was also fantastic—he showed us the property multiple times and was always patient in answering all our questions and explaining everything clearly. His support and responsiveness made a big difference and helped us feel confident in our decision. Overall, the team provided outstanding service, and we really appreciate their help during such an important purchase. Highly recommended!
14th Mar 2026 (4 days ago)I had a very disappointing experience with this letting agency. My viewing was confirmed both over the phone and by email, so I travelled to the property as agreed. When I arrived outside the property, they suddenly cancelled the viewing and gave me different excuses. This was extremely unprofessional and a complete waste of my time. If the viewing could not take place, they should have informed me well in advance instead of letting me travel there for nothing. I expected much better communication and reliability from a letting agency.

They badmouth the landlord to you and then go back on what they have said and try and con you out of your deposit. Awful company.- 23rd Feb 2026 (23 days ago)I had checked statistics on other agents before settling with Temme English. They ranked highest for fastest sales and truest valuations. Prompt advertising and clean clear photos. I had prior knowledge of every viewing and feedback soon after. Viewings came thick and fast and property was sold STC within 10 days at near asking price
6th Mar 2026 (12 days ago)We recently sold our house through Property Specialists. They are an independent estate agent in Billericay and are absolutely second to none. Jay, who we dealt with, was great. So professional, efficient, knowledgeable and kept in touch with us throughout the whole process. He was constantly in touch with our solicitor and our buyers solicitor to chase and then informed us of progress. David, the boss was also very instrumental in our sale. If you are looking for an estate agent to sell your house in Billericay I can honestly say look no further then Property Specialists. We also used Paul Robinson to act for us as they were recommended by Prooerty Specialists. Again what a great recommendation. Thank you Jay and David. Linda & John

I found the sales team, especially Oscar and Lucy, very helpful and pleasant to deal with when you could get through to them / see them. The office seemed under manned and there were quite a few occasions when my phone call would be diverted to an answering / out of hours team (even when calling during office hours) who could only take a message and email the sales team in Billericay. On one occasion I wanted to pop in during my lunch break (1 - 2pm, week day) only to find the whole office was shut as all staff were on a training course. The staff are knowledgeable and good at what they do but this lack of communication is both frustrating and annoying and not ideal during what is a stressful process

Very thorough during the process which she went through in every detail with viewings from interested people to taking photos to advertising my property online and negotiating the best price. I was impressed with all the effort Adele went to and she spent time explaining everything to me unlike other Estate Agents I spoke to. I would recommend these Estate Agents to any seller or buyer.

4th Mar 2026 (14 days ago)Gilbert and Rose had a professional approach to valuing my property and seemed enthusiastic. We received and accepted an offer the day after the advert went live. The communication from then onwards was very poor. I had to chase for information as the memorandum of sale had not been issued more than 10 days after accepting the offer. Although the delay may not have been a direct fault of Gilbert and Rose, I had to chase daily for progress and as I am writing to this I have not received an update on progress and I am going to need to chase again.

From advising how to ready the house, to finding a good buyer, to helping manage the solicitors constant enquiries and their shortcomings. Always available to help. Plus using his long experience and long list of contacts to get this ordeal over the line. So hard working. I will recommend him to everyone. Importantly, he’s a lovely guy!

The agents involved in viewings could do with some training in this aspect. Having dealt with other agents in the past I know what ‘good service’ looks like. This unfortunately was not it.
