20th Oct 2026 (7 days ago)Since May 2026 I have rented an apartment that is part of a large 1900s building. In summary from my 1st viewing, items that were going to be fixed prior to tenancy were never fixed. Lots of emails/photos communication but did not result in any action by Reed/ Landlord. Ongoing saga and my recommendation is to avoid as there are far better letting agents in the marketplace. The new rental laws from 1st May allow walking away with 2 months notice which is a great step forward.

Staff was friendly and straight on point, which I personally really appreciate due to the uncertain nature of finding a new property to rent.
30th Sep 2026 (27 days ago)Quite disappointing, I call in on Monday and spoke with a Danielle who proceeds to huff and puff down the phone and say she has not yet sat down and when ready she will send an email for an application (this is at 9.30am ish) I was made to seem like it I was a nuisance calling and the complete attitude during the call was horrendous. Called again today as we made our enquiry on Saturday when the property was listed via rightmove, spoke on Monday and agreed once she has spoken with tenants she will call me only to get an email to say they are all booked. I have no issue with a first come first serve basis but the attitude from this member of staff on the phone is shocking put aside the messy communication. Completely put me off this estate agent entirely if that’s the expectation for staff to speak to customers then I’m glad I don’t have to deal with Ashleigh Stone again.
14th Oct 2026 (13 days ago)Would not recommend. I’ve been a customer in various properties for over 10 years. Service charges aren’t justified. They make amounts up, charge you for them and don’t carry out the work. Multiple other tenants I know have said the same about them. Despite a decade-long relationship, if you owe them £1, they will send out bailiffs without warning.
25th Aug 2026 (9 weeks ago)I have had the most positive experience with Abbotts. I was very new to the renting process after owning for many years. So understandably very daunting. I was made to feel that they cared and was kept informed throughout the whole process. Rhesa has been a tower of strength from her help and advice and literal hand holding throughout. She has been so empathetic and upfront. The process was smooth and very quick. If I could describe the perfect Letting Agent, it would be her! If I could have given 10 stars I would have, undoubtedly!

He has always been happy to help with any questions, offer advice and provide support whenever needed. Nothing has ever been too much trouble, and his friendly, professional approach has made the whole experience so much easier. 20th Oct 2026 (7 days ago)I just wanted to take a moment to say a really heartfelt thank you for how wonderful Allison from Carter Remy has been throughout my sale.<br><br>Selling a flat, starting a new job and moving into a new home all within the space of a week is quite something (!) but having her at the other end of the phone keeping things moving, communicating so brilliantly and working so hard to get everything over the line is making such a difference.<br><br>She’s been consistently kind, proactive and reassuring - I really hope she knows how much that is appreciated!
