Since signing contracts, unfortunately the service I have received from Stone has been seriously lacking. They seem to be unable to provide me with up-to-date information on delays to the development, do not respond to emails and I don't believe are passing on my concerns to the Developer. Firstly I met Saphia who drove from Eltham to Whitstable to show me around a property. She was professional polite and knew the property in side out showing various little extras. Saphia told me exactly what was being left in the property and also the best way to proceed. When it was time to close the deal Alex came again from Eltham to Whitstable and stayed with me throughout the whole process of buying my lodge which was around 4 hours. I had to go into town and contact my bank which took longer than expected. Alex was still waiting with a smile and never once made me feel like I was putting him out. I felt supported from start to finish. I cannot recommend this company enough.. If I had a property in London.. Or the South East I wouldn't not hesitate to contact Equity... Honest.. ReMax Caning town property sale team has totally disappointed us in every step of 6 weeks period of sale of our house and wasted our time. They made a good first meeting impression, compare to other 6 estate agents, which swayed us to go with them but from there it was total disaster. The listed cost of property was not discussed and advised properly, they agreed with our “wishful” house price to get us sign up with them, rather than advise against current market situation. The listing of our property has been unprofessional, copied twice with different prices and unmanaged even after countless requests. The availability of the sale team was getting worse every week up to the moment where weren’t able to reach anyone in four working days. We had very little or no feedback from them on any viewings of our property. Compare to our second chosen estate agents who were complete opposite on every step of successful house sale ReMax was terrible choice and I would recommend everyone with hope of smooth and quick property sale to AVOID ReMax estate agents altogether!!... Avoid this estate agent. I used JS Estate Management under a fully managed agreement. I raised concerns about unauthorised occupation of my property and was assured there were no issues — yet documentary evidence showed the agent knew exactly who was occupying it. When I requested a payment trail showing how rent was handled, they refused to provide it. I raised formal complaints with The Property Ombudsman.
