18th Mar 2026 (23 weeks ago)Absolutely useless service from Colin Tomney letting agents. They’ve now cancelled my appointment AGAIN at the last minute. No warning, no apology worth mentioning, just a complete disregard for other people’s time. It’s honestly shocking how unprofessional they are. If you enjoy having your time wasted and being messed around, then this is the place for you. Otherwise, avoid and find an agent that actually knows how to organise a basic appointment.
11th Mar 2026 (24 weeks ago)Everything was explained plainly about costs and procedures etc. i had no concerns about the whole process and I could leave it in their hands without having to concern myself about anything. All staff I engaged with were friendly and professional, answering questions about the whole process. My experience has been completely positive and I would have no reservations about recommending them to others.

My son, owns his own business , his wife & 5 really well mannered level headed kids applied for a property after viewing to be told the “owner” decided they were not suitable? No credit searches, no full application only how many occupants. Is this discrimination against have a large family and assuming they’re reliant on benefits? He has private rented for some 15 years and never missed a payment. Maybe Clyde should work a bit harder to satisfy owners & renters.

5th Sep 2023 (2 years ago)Was so disappointed with the carry out as 1st time and got prices on line which apparently have not been updated ordered veg pakora chicken pakora and poppadoms and spiced onions £18.96 when I queried this she said it was 2 poppadoms and spiced onions it's not the best experience as the prices are very much more expensive 6.99 chicken pakora and 5.99 for veg pakora 2.99 poppadoms and spiced onions. Only exotic thing about this place is the prices. UPDATE After owners reply STILL no update on prices and as previously mentioned the poppadoms and spiced onions come together what they need to mention that a portion is 2 poppadoms broken up as when I ordered 2 poppadoms and spiced onions got the equivalent of 4 poppadoms at 5.98 so this needs to be clearer on the menu also as how many poppadoms do you need for 2 people.
6th Aug 2026 (17 days ago)Unfortunately, our experience with Housespotters Estate Agents was very disappointing, mainly because of poor communication and a lack of professionalism throughout the process.<br>Before our house was put on the market, Amanda was very confident that she could achieve a certain price for our property. However, our first concern was when the photos were taken using a phone rather than professional camera equipment. Although phone cameras are good these days, the photos did not have the quality we expected for selling a property. When the advert went live, there were too many photos, and some did not show the house in the best way.<br><br>The biggest problem for us was communication. After the first week, it became difficult to get updates. There were very few viewings, and things did not improve while we were with them. Calls often went unanswered, and promised call-backs rarely happened. We often felt like we were chasing them for information rather than being kept updated.<br><br>After around three weeks of frustration, we decided to end our agreement with them. What disappointed us most was that there was no real effort to understand why we wanted to leave. We were simply asked to pay the marketing fee so the property could be taken off the market. Once we paid, the only reply we received was confirmation of payment and a short “good luck” message.<br>After this, I noticed I had been blocked on WhatsApp and social media. I also emailed about removing the “For Sale” sign but received no reply or confirmation that this had been arranged.<br><br>Overall, our experience with Housespotters Estate Agents was very poor. Based on what we experienced, I would not recommend them to others. The level of communication, professionalism and customer service was not what we expected when selling our home.
3rd Aug 2026 (20 days ago)I would strongly advise anyone considering Rettie Newton Mearns for mortgage or remortgage services to think carefully before proceeding.<br>My experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. During my remortgage, I experienced poor communication, unnecessary delays, and a lack of ownership when problems arose. Issues with the handling of the Standard Security paperwork caused significant stress and wasted a considerable amount of my time.<br>Despite paying a £549 broker fee, I did not receive the professional service I expected. In the end, I remained with my existing lender after going through an unnecessarily frustrating process.<br>What disappointed me most was the way my complaint was handled. I raised my concerns and expected Rettie to acknowledge the shortcomings and resolve the matter fairly. Instead, I have received no meaningful resolution or compensation.<br>My dealings were primarily with Roland Brownlee and Megan Gordon at the Rettie Newton Mearns branch, and unfortunately my overall experience with the service I received was very poor.<br>Based on my personal experience, I would not use Rettie again, nor would I recommend Rettie Newton Mearns to friends or family. There are many mortgage brokers available, and I would encourage potential customers to do thorough research before choosing this branch.

Craig, Megan, Laura and all of the team were extremely helpful throughout the entire process. By far the best property selling experience that we have had. Would not hesitate in recommending them for any others looking to sell their property in the southside.

11th Aug 2026 (12 days ago)Outstanding service from David, Iain, Craig and the team at Coats & Hall. They came recommended and what a recommendation it was. Within a day of agreeing to use David’s services and in a pretty urgent situation to sell, he had arranged for photographs, videos and home report to be done. This was all completed within days and advertised. Throughout the selling process David and his team were on hand to answer questions 24/7 and replies couldn’t have been any quicker. I definitely would and have already recommended Coats & Hall as an excellent Estate Agents. Thank you and worth every penny.

From start to finish, the service was excellent, and a special thank you to Robert, who made what could have been a stressful process feel so much easier.<br><br>Robert was always friendly, professional and approachable. No question was ever too silly, and nothing was ever too much trouble. He was supportive throughout, kept me informed every step of the way, and genuinely cared about making the whole experience as smooth as possible.<br><br>What really stood out was the personal service. I never felt like just another client, and there was none of the pompous attitude you can sometimes encounter. Instead, I was treated with kindness, respect and honesty throughout.<br><br>I’m extremely happy with the whole experience and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ronald Ross Estate Agents to anyone looking for a professional yet genuinely caring team. Supported from start to finish. I would highly recommend Karen if you are looking to buy and/or sell properties.<br>Karen has great knowledge of many local areas and committed to the process till the point properties are concluded and keys are handed to new owners, and if needed beyond this point too. While selling can be a stressful experience Karen remained a constant professional but friendly calmness providing helpful advice and knowledge.
