25th Nov 2025 (16 weeks ago)Christies did a lot of research to ensure the valuation was realistic and achievable - the marketing materials were excellent - the viewings process was straightforward, we always knew what has happening and when. As Christies have a few offices in the area our property had maximum buyer exposure which has resulted in a good offer that we have accepted within one month of launch. Thanks Perry and team.

More recently, I attended and contacted the branch directly to raise a concern and was disappointed with the response I received. While my earlier transactions were handled professionally, this later interaction left me feeling disappointed.

21st Feb 2026 (25 days ago)Ignored my email request for a viewing.<br><br>Spammed me with unsuitable properties.<br><br>Randomly asked me if I wanted to let my house.<br><br>Went to view a house through them, agent didn't turn up, didn't answer the phone and didn't tell me the house was off the market (as I subsequently found out via Rightmove).<br><br>Clowns.

28th Feb 2026 (18 days ago)I was searching for a rental property in Surbiton for my daughter, and we had a VERY specific set of requirements that many estate agents were struggling to meet - or they they just didn't seem engaged! After speaking with Winkworth Surbiton, they stood out immediately—their customer experience was on an entirely different level, and they delivered on every detail we asked for. From the very first conversation to the final handover, the whole process was smooth, transparent, and exceptionally well?communicated. There was never a moment where I felt out of the loop or unsure of the next step. Everything was handled with a level of care detail that made everything stress free and effortless. A special mention must go to Ryan, whose professionalism and engagement were outstanding throughout. He made the entire tenancy process incredibly easy, anticipating questions before they arose and ensuring every stage was handled with precision and clarity. And then there’s Tayte, who genuinely went above and beyond. Her dedication, attention to detail, and willingness to push things forward made all the difference. Without her efforts, none of this would have come together as seamlessly as it did. Thank you very much! Quite simply, Winkworth Surbiton are the best estate agents I’ve ever worked with. Their service exceeded every expectation, and when the time comes for us to move house, I won’t hesitate for a moment—I’ll be going straight back to them.
18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

23rd Feb 2026 (23 days ago)Very disappointing experience with this agency. Communication from their representative, Josh, was unnecessarily argumentative and lacked professionalism. Reasonable requests regarding suitable viewing times were inaccurately presented as a refusal. As a tenant, I remained cooperative, yet the tone and approach taken made the process stressful and uncomfortable. Professionalism and respectful communication should be standard practice in any property agency. However, he was lack of them. In this case, Josh clearly fell short of these standards. In contrast, my communication with Jena was professional, polite, and respectful. She arranged viewings appropriately and approached matters in a courteous manner, which made cooperation much easier. Professional and respectful communication makes a significant difference, and I hope this agency ensures consistency across its team. Update in response to the agency’s reply: I stand by my review, as it reflects my genuine experience. I have retained screenshots of the communication between Joshua and myself, including responses that I found dismissive and unprofessional, such as the use of a laughing emoji when I mentioned raising a complaint. This understandably gave the impression that my concerns were not being taken seriously. For clarity, two viewings were successfully conducted at the property with my agreement. This clearly demonstrates that I was cooperative and did not refuse access. As a working tenant, I simply requested reasonable availability within my schedule, which is entirely within my legal rights. Leaving a review on Google is also my right as a consumer when I feel my experience does not reflect the standards described in your response. Should the matter require independent review, I am comfortable referring it to The Property Ombudsman so that an impartial assessment can determine whether the communication met appropriate professional standards. I remain willing to cooperate within reasonable and respectful boundaries. However, I do not wish to continue communication with Joshua and request that future arrangements are handled by another respectful representative.
