Only point last visit was lack of customer service basics when paying. No please thank you or even acknowledgement. Every other staff member was lovely though and this doesnt normally happen so still 5 stars. The lad helping load our van had so much energy and was lovely. Looking forward to attending next month

They maintain communication throughout a lengthy process, repeatedly checking the sale progress with both the buyer and seller. They respond rapidly and positively to all requests. 26th Apr 2020 (6 years ago)At first they were really helpful, but after a few weeks we heard nothing from them. They were rarely able to do viewings, so we had to do them ourselves. There was no feedback unless we telephoned them. We were told that a specific person would be dealing with our home, but this person changed 5 times! There seemed to be obvious problems within the staff. We are very disappointed. After the lockdown we shall be changing our agent.

29th Apr 2026 (10 days ago)Alison and team have been patient and supportive throughout my complex and convoluted buying and selling venture which took far longer than expected and involved many Groundhog Days. Nothing was too much trouble and a great deal of 'hand holding' was necessary as this was the first time I had done this. Alison took great care to keep me informed at every stage and was available whenever needed, with no question too surreal. She even carefully re-homed my gander! I would call that above and beyond. No hesitation in recommending Alison & team at Character & Country who made a very difficult effort so much easier than it might have been. 12 out of 10.

Carly was the agent we were dealing with, we could not recommend her high enough, she went above and beyond her duties particularly for us. Carly’s communication was excellent and dealt with a not too easy sale on our part. We will always be grateful to Carly for her hard work perseverance and dedication. If we sell again will definitely be using this estate agent.
