19th Jun 2026 (16 days ago)For starters, if there were an option for 0 stars, Harry Harper Lettings would have earned it with flying colours.<br>Nothing quite says "welcome to your new home" like finding raw fish left in the freezer, eight full bin bags decorating the garden, and a mould-ridden bedroom that had clearly never seen treatment. It's a truly unique move-in experience.<br>Communication was equally impressive. If you've ever wanted to spend your time speaking to robots, being ignored altogether, or being passed between people who don't know the answer and have no intention of finding it, you're in luck. Customer service appears to be treated as more of a theoretical concept than an actual service.<br>The grand finale? Being charged £400 from our deposit when leaving, despite the condition the property was handed over in.<br>A letting agent's job is supposed to be managing properties and supporting tenants. Harry Harper Lettings seem to have interpreted this somewhat differently.<br>An amateur operation at best. The rental market deserves better, and tenants deserve their rights.

29th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)I wouldn’t personally recommend dealing with this estate agent based on my experience. The property was described as being from a “quality builder”, but that didn’t stack up when I actually viewed them. There were issues that hadn’t been mentioned beforehand, which left me feeling like the listings didn’t give an accurate picture of what you’re walking into. Viewings themselves weren’t particularly useful. The agent seemed to have very little understanding of the properties and couldn’t answer basic questions, which made the whole process feel like a bit of a waste of time. Getting hold of anyone was also a challenge. Calls weren’t returned, and when I did get through, the interaction felt more like I was being brushed off than actually helped. The tone came across as quite condescending at times, which didn’t exactly inspire confidence. Overall, it felt like dealing with a small operation without the structure, preparation, or professionalism you tend to get from more established agents. There just didn’t seem to be the systems or attention to detail you’d expect when making such an important decision. My experience was also a long way off what some of the more positive reviews suggest, which I found hard to understand given the issues I encountered. I’d suggest anyone considering using them does their own due diligence and doesn’t rely solely on what’s presented. Disappointing, and not something I’d choose to repeat.

They provide periodic inspection reports with detailed photos, so any issues in the property are picked up early. Highly recommended.

3rd May 2026 (9 weeks ago)We would highly recommend Howkins and Harrison. Maddie, Lauren and Eve are all extremely professional and so dedicated to what they do. Maddie kept us in the loop throughout the whole process which was stressful at times and kept in contact with our solicitor and notified us immediately about the current situation. We are extremely grateful and so happy we are now in our lovely new home. Moving is inevitably stressful but instructing Howkins and Harrison was the best decision we could have made. Thank you Howkins and Harrison for making a stressful process more endurable. With professionalism, friendliness and commitment. You’re a great team. Best wishes Jan and Francis.

17th Jun 2026 (18 days ago)The customer service from this letting agency is appalling. I had a viewing booked. My 2 years old son suddenly fell ill and was rushed to hospital. I was in the hospital with no service attempted to call to cancel my viewing no answer. 45 mins before my appointment I also emailed to confirm cancellation as online it advised the place was not available until August. 1. Misleading information over the phone and online about a property. 2. Shocking behaviour from the agent who was raising his voice at me and telling me I’m black listed. Will be posting my reviews all over social media and making sure no one uses this company. They do not even know how to speak with customers. So rude and disrespectful. I will gladly be black listed from this agency. Thank god! Do not use them at all. Never ever would I recommend this company lack of empathy for my situation. Give false information and then have the cheek to be rude. Disgusting behaviour !

The communication was regular and consistent, they were always available and helpful when needed. Our sale process was a breeze in comparison to our purchase. Emily got involved in chasing solicitors and the estate agent of the property we were purchasing to push things along, and it was definitely needed, the chain was managed end to end so we always knew what was going on and where the delays and sticking points were. Would recommend Alexanders and use them again for sure!

Any problems there on the ball and they are very on top of everything. From someone who thought these companies were all the same now I’ve seen both ends of the spectrum it’s definetly a huge difference and plus

Throughout the whole process he kept us regularly informed with frequent updates both online and by telephone. He completed all viewings himself and sold our property less than 3 weeks from initial advert. Thank you so much.

Adam came to the house 4 months before we put it on the market to advise on optimising our final DIY efforts to finish the renovation. He was so helpful through the photographing stage. Starla and Darcy were brilliant communicators through viewings and the conveyancing stages. Always prompt with answers to questions and kept tabs on all stages of the process for all houses in the chain so that we always felt we knew where we were and what was next.
