The communication was great all the way through and the whole team worked hard to ensure that buyers and we as sellers had all the information we needed. The whole process was much smoother than we feared, as the team went above and beyond to keep everyone to the required timescales. I wouldn't hesitate to work with Youngs again.

1st Jul 2026 (17 weeks ago)I drove a very long way (3.5hrs !) to look at a property they had advertised only to be treated a bit like an extra in a power game or a prearranged situation. The way people treat you if you are on sickness benefits is really plain prejudice and of course I was 20 years too young. They could have saved me the journey but I was left feeling very exhausted and fed up. They were superior in short. About money, image, and a closed community. Not good for the already isolated town, or people making an effort to move there. Be straight with people, dont use them 'for numbers' or judge (pass on opinons) because someone has been ill and gets living support. It doesnt mean youre irresponsible it means theyre unmarried and without an inhertance. Hope none of them get seriously ill and find out what its like. It shouldnt be a snobs beauty parade just to rent a tiny place.
18th May 2023 (3 years ago)Huge thank you to Jeanette snd Mary who helped with the purchase of our new home. It was quite stressful for us at times and we had a few (a lot!) bumps in the road. We were very dependent on the team especially towards the end of the buying process for many reasons. I truly believe without their help on an almost daily basis we would still be waiting for the sale to have been finalised. We are now 4 weeks in our new home and are so happy. The stress long forgotten. The team are Very professional, very “on it” and also want to do the best for the buyer. Thank you all.

From the initial contact to the valuation, marketing, viewing of property and communication they have been excellent. From our experience we would never use any other estate agent (in the extremely unlikely event of us ever selling our current home).

14th Sep 2026 (6 weeks ago)I never thought that I'd give a glowing review to any estate agent but Brunton's were excellent at selling my mother's house in Hexham. It wasn't a straightforward sale but they were always there quickly with very professional advice and good online systems. Charlotte in particular was very on top of local data and experience for her valuation (and everything else).
