5th May 2026 (16 weeks ago)Disappointing experience. Took time off work to attend a viewing, only to have the agent discuss a live offer with the seller in front of me during the appointment. It made for a really awkward and unprofessional situation. While they later acknowledged it could have been handled differently, they ultimately stood by their actions. Needless to say I wound trust then to be involved in and sales or purchase. Basic discretion during viewings shouldn’t be too much to expect right?

21st Aug 2023 (3 years ago)Jools was so helpful, she knew everything about the area, she took the most amazing pictures and marketed the house in a way that almost made me want to buy it! From knowing about the benefits of the kind of windows we had to knowing the direction the garden and the way lighting would change through the day. Everything! You'd think it was her house the way she spoke about it. She was amazing. And on top of all that, the most genuinely nice and helpful person. I couldn't have wished for anyone nicer to help us with the sale. We had previously spoken to other estate agents but Jools just put us totally at ease and made it so much less stressful than we ever thought it could be. I can't thank her and her team enough!

20th Feb 2026 (6 mo. ago)Useful to be invited to comment! I/we would say that it's never good to be provided with false information. Nor to suffer broken promises, or to be introduced to a buyer who definitely isn't going to be able to buy, and an agent is well aware. These things cause real damage and distress to a seller. I/we definitely don't recommend this business, it caused provable harm.
4th Aug 2026 (20 days ago)Anthony Hay at True Homes went above and beyond the call of duty in relation to this sale. The property had to be sold on the death of a family member but one of the beneficiaries to the estate of the deceased made selling the property exceptionally difficult as they did all they could to obstruct the sale while at the same time demanding their inheritance from the estate (the greater part of which was of course the property which they wished to remain in rent free). Anthony calmly remained patient and eventually we overcame the obstacles and achieved the sale.

30th Oct 2023 (2 years ago)Tenants Avoid. We didn’t even make the end of our 1yr tenancy. Issues with damp in the property took ages to resolve, property was frozen during cost of living. No sympathy from anyone at HP, people who came to look at damp were rude and condescending. Genuinely made me wonder why I was paying rent if none of that money can be used to make properties habitable. If you’re smart enough to look at reviews before signing the tenancy, you’re smart enough to reconsider. Wish we had.

17th Jun 2025 (1 year ago)Unprofessional and dishonest agent who refused and delayed repairs until the tenancy was over. Then attempted to charge more than the deposit to repaint the walls and conduct repairs while not providing evidence. Had to go through the deposit dispute process to recover my deposit. Massive waste of time for any renters, avoid at all costs.
16th Dec 2025 (8 mo. ago)brilliant expletive from start to finish with Instict. Michael kept in touch every step of the way he arranged all the viewings and there was nothing for us to stress about. Michael has very good knowlege and was able to also refer us on to other processionals within the industry. Praise would definitely use again
