She was able to answer any questions I had, including the steps I will need to take with the services providers for the property. We were fortunate enough to have been perosnally assisted by Charlie Hales and as well as being a genuinely wonderful and likeable person, she was extremely professional and competent throughout. I would also like to state here that the rest of the team that I had contact to were also extremely couteous and helpful. Connells will be my first choice in the future and I would thoroughly recommend them to any of my friends and family.

The open day was an immense success, with 11 interested parties and 3 offers, 2 of which at the asking price. The house was marketed and sold within a week.

29th Apr 2026 (17 weeks ago)We have been using Northwood to rent our property since 2013. We lived abroad from 2013-2015. They communicated any maintenance issues, working closely with the tenant and contractors and resolved issues in a timely manor, while keeping us updated. They have sourced many suitable tenants over the 13 years we have been with them. We deal mainly with Carly and Beth. They are always professional, courteous and extremely helpful. We cannot recommend Northwood highly enough.

They kept us updated every step of the way, so we always knew what was happening, which made the whole buying process so much less stressful.<br><br>Everyone was incredibly friendly, approachable and genuinely helpful. The communication was fantastic throughout, and it really felt like they valued us as customers and wanted to do everything they could to help. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and any questions we had were answered quickly.<br><br>We couldn't recommend them enough and are so grateful for all of their support in helping us buy our new home. 10th Aug 2021 (5 years ago)After having very difficult & rule breaking tenants for 9 months we were not surprised when they 'jumped ship, without paying rent until the end of the tenancy. We were not allowed into the flat until the end of the tenancy when the check out Inventory was done. Then, surprise surprise the robbing tenants asked for their deposit back! Emily of Sansome & George was very helpful in advising me of the correct process to follow & helped me to secure payment of the deposit which went part way to reimbursing us for the funds lost. Thanks Emily for the excellent support & advice.

They were extremely professional; with a genuine care for us as buyers, unlike some estate agents, they seem to really care! Jamie and Matt (owners) took time to regularly check in with us, made the process tick along smoothly, and have even followed up to see if we are doing well in our new home. 29th Jul 2026 (25 days ago)Not the best of places to look for a house if you’re looking to rent.<br><br>We have been renting since September of last year with Connells and at first they were great. As you would expect from an estate agency they’re all happy and friendly with you to get you on the door and into something that makes them money.<br><br>September is when we moved in after signing documents and everything we needed to. However, one document doesn’t seem to be accessible, which I thought may be an issue with either my phone or the website so I left it. The inventory. Until recently we have not been able to download or access the inventory sent to us that has been done by an “unbiased third party”. After looking back through the photos and notice a fair amount of damage that has not been recorded. Seems a little unfair and biased. These damages are not exactly cheap repairs. Floor tiles damaged, walls discoloured where the light catches it, boiler switches burnt from the boiler heat and so on.<br><br>I made a complaint to them regarding this as well as the complaints team and repairs team on the phone.<br><br>I’m the best way of explaining how they deal with the situation. It’s not their issue. They keep using any excuse to wiggle their way around not having to take responsibility for any of the previous damages bear in mind on our arrival we took photos.<br><br>We reported the damages to that the next tenants do not have the same issue as us. However, they are smartly wording emails to make out that we are responsible for damages, yes prior damages, and will most likely be billed at the end of our tenancy.<br><br>Suspicions of mine believe this is a way for them to keep your deposits. Especially when one of the tenants become vulnerable to disability and you have to follow the law and leave the property.<br><br>I have made my case clear with them and will fight it through the deposit protection scheme and if need be appoint legal services.<br><br>Please be careful when you go in they seem friendly but they will have you bent backwards into a corner to steal your money.
