14th Sep 2025 (6 mo. ago)Avoid Brennan Ayre O’Neill Lettings – Unprofessional and Negligent We’ve rented through Brennan Ayre O’Neill for the past 14 months, and it has been a consistently frustrating and disappointing experience from start to finish. This review specifically concerns their lettings department, not their estate agency, as we’ve had no dealings with that side. Communication is virtually non-existent. From the beginning, responses were slow and inconsistent. At one point, they didn’t even show up for a scheduled property inspection with no notice or follow-up. This lack of reliability became a recurring issue throughout the tenancy. Maintenance issues were ignored or met with rude, dismissive responses. Emails and phone calls often went unanswered. When we raised serious concerns like damp and mould, the blame was shifted onto us, rather than any real effort made to assess or resolve the problem despite it clearly being a longstanding structural issue. Their contractors were unreliable and careless. Work was frequently left unfinished, and in some cases, contractors left rubbish dumped in the alleyway next to our property. We had to constantly chase both the contractors and the agency for updates or completion and even then, the standard of work and level of accountability was unacceptable. The staff we dealt with were often rude, unhelpful, and dismissive. Once the tenancy was signed, their interest in providing any sort of professional service vanished. It felt like tenants were treated as an inconvenience rather than customers. To any prospective tenants or landlords: avoid Brennan Ayre O’Neill lettings at all costs. They are unresponsive, unprofessional, and take no accountability for problems. We would never rent through them again and strongly advise others to steer clear. Our landlord has now switched letting agents and the difference in just one month says a lot about the property “management” or lack of from Brennan Ayre O’Neill.- 29th Nov 2025 (16 weeks ago)In a difficult market hopefully we have sold the house

From start to finish, the entire process was handled with efficiency and care. I was pleased with the service I received from Alex, Aaron and Anna throughout. The communication with Aaron was excellent — I was kept informed and felt fully supported through the process. I wholeheartedly recommend Thorney Groves, Chester to anyone looking to sell their home. A great service from a team that goes the extra mile.

6th Mar 2026 (12 days ago)We’ve had a great experience using Jones and Chapman’s in house mortgage service in Wallasey - Georgina Dale has been such an invaluable help. We tried another high rated mortgage broker before trying Georgina who was recommended to us and she provided what we felt was a much better all round service. We wouldn’t be able to buy the house we’re getting without her help. Not only did she manage to get us a much better mortgage offer than other places but she also explained everything so well throughout the process so we felt really well informed . She really has gone over and above helping us through every step. Couldn’t recommend more!

Great service from start to finish - from making an appointment, viewing property to going through the buying process. Highly recommend buying a house from them.

They are very professional, they respond to emails and inquiries quickly and offer a very personal service. They also ensure that any repairs are addressed as soon as possible. They are a pleasure to deal with!

16th May 2022 (3 years ago)Booked an appointment to go see a unit we were keen about, 2 other people also took time off work. We arrived onsite to no one to show from legat Owens, and then the landlady arrived to ask us what we were doing as the unit has been rented out for the last 3 months. So thank you legat Owens for completely wasting our time and letting us book time off work for a unit which isn’t for rent.

In both cases, I received excellent service from the team at Constables. I found them to be professional, helpful, friendly and very effective at their job. I would use Constables again without hesitation.

14th Jan 2026 (9 weeks ago)Very concerning conduct by this agency regarding the repeat rental of a property where they KNOW black mould and damp are present, yet their excuse is that " the property owner is not prepared to spend any money on addressing the disrepair" So why if you are truly a reputable agency REVIVE which cares about tenants, would you continue to work with such a landlord?! Revive's culpability in the persistent rental of properties where there is evident and reported damp and black mould which is seriously detrimental to the health of young children, is disgraceful and clearly demonstrates their love of profits over people!

Adam was brilliant, highly professional, proactive, and extremely competent throughout. He has a clear understanding of more complex strategies that many agents either don’t understand or avoid, such as Rent-to-Rent, Company Let Agreements, and HMOs ect More importantly, Adam went well beyond standard working and office hours, negotiating back and forth late into the night between multiple parties to ensure the deal got over the line. We work with a lot of people in property, and it’s individuals like Adam who actually make things happen. He’s a real asset to the company — this deal simply wouldn’t have completed without him.
