3rd Aug 2026 (20 days ago)I handed in our notice and ended up having to take the matter to court because of the overpaid rent and deposit. The whole process took around six months, and there’s still money outstanding.<br><br>At this point, I can’t be bothered spending more money on bailiffs to try and recover it. I’d rather focus on enjoying my new home and move on with my life.

However the handling of viewings was varied with the different estate agents seeming to have different levels of skill about selling the house and it's location. Communication was poor. I had to call them repeatedly for updates even when they had said that someone would call me. All the staff from Connells were impeccably turned out and very polite and friendly.

Even when things became difficult and complicated, they stuck by me and continued to be helpful, patient and understanding from start to finish.<br><br>They dealt with all the complexities of my situation professionally and made what could have been a very stressful process much easier. Communication was always great, and they kept me updated and helped wherever they could.<br><br>I’m extremely grateful to both Poppy and Alex for their time, patience and effort in helping me secure my new place. They genuinely went above and beyond, and I couldn’t thank them enough for everything they did.<br><br>I would highly recommend Poppy and Alex to anyone looking for a professional, friendly and supportive team. I would have really liked more feedback and more of a push from there end to get creative in the sale space but I feel the experience overall is a positive one.

Luke gave us his full attention throughout the whole process, we took up his whole Saturday shift before finding the chosen house we wanted to call home! Thanks Luke for this and without you I don’t think we would’ve found our next humble abode.<br><br>All the crew at Taylor’s were helpful as well.

Took his time to listen to us and ensure that our property was marketed in the best way. He gave an accurate estimate of our property’s value. Photos were excellent and helped to sell our house I’m sure. Several viewings were secured quickly and our house sold at above the asking price within days. The sales negotiator was experienced and helped us to secure a really good price. All was done quickly but we didn’t feel rushed and were kept updated at every stage. All in all a good experience and we are happy sellers.

From my first viewing, to now being a few days away from completion, the team have been attentive, professional, accessible and able to answer my numerous questions. As a first time solo buyer the process has been very daunting but the team have really put me at ease and supported me through the whole process.
