As a first time buyer with very little knowledge, Anne ensured I felt guided and supported at all times, making sure I fully understood my options, what everything meant and doing everything in her power to get me the best mortgage deal and rates. She has also communicated with my solicitors and estate agents on my behalf taking away a massive burden. Most importantly, she’s always been at the other end of the phone when I’ve needed her.<br>Super professional, extremely lovely and very efficient- the time from having my first meeting, a DIP and a mortgage offer was 10 days! Their communication was excellent they kept me fully in the loop with regular updates and took the time to clearly explain every step of the process so I always knew exactly where things stood. They were genuinely proactive, anticipating issues and keeping everything moving smoothly without me having to chase.<br>What impressed me just as much is how well they look after my rental portfolio. As a landlord, I really value the care they show both me and my tenants. They handle everything professionally and thoughtfully, which gives me complete peace of mind.<br>If you’re selling a property in Halifax or need a reliable team to manage your rentals, Redwoods are the ones to go to. Whenever things have stalled, Matt has been proactive in chasing the vendor and both sides of the solicitors to keep everything moving forward. 8th Oct 2026 (19 days ago)Amazing service from Adam and the team! Within around 48 hours of raising an enquiry, Adam came around to value the house. He was honest, professional and timely. Shortly after, he then came around to take pictures/measurements of the house and again was professional and warm. He explained everything he was doing as he was doing it.<br><br>When selling the house, we were communicating with Jess who was just as great! Her responses was prompt and she always kept us in the loop. After a blip where the initial sale fell through, she and the team were prompt in getting the house back on the market ready for viewings.<br><br>Protheroe Property made our move seamless and alleviated some of the stress. Their communication was prompt, effective, and always warm. I don't think we waited longer than a few hours for a response. 21st Aug 2025 (1 year ago)Property is marked as sold, initially they valued my property price very low if I hadn’t argued yet it sold within two weeks after being put on the market. Communication is very slow, no updates at all, everything is just at stand still no updates of what’s happening, Ella doesn’t respond to emails at all sometimes.

From the start, Katie impressed me with her prompt reply to my initial enquiry on a Sunday. She may not have the experience of some of the others I met, but she certainly showed enthusiasm and understood the complexities of selling a holiday cottage. I was able to contact her easily and she kept me fully in the picture. A buyer was found within a month. Highly recommend.

Beth, Michelle and Madison couldn’t have been more helpful in talking to solicitors, pushing the process along and in updating us. Very impressed, especially as we weren’t their clients.
